Well we did say Ned Leonard can bat, much better than most 11s.

Then with no more bonus points for either side to get this innings, Chris Wright earnt his second of the match, getting Leonard wafting outside off with little foot movement.

Emilio Gay is an exciting batter to watch and he showed up really well for England Lions against India A recently but he's not finding it easy at the start of his innings.

Gurinder Sandhu goes past his outside edge a couple of times before finding the outer part of the bat and it squirts away for a single.

Kent opener Ben Compton brings up his century in style, dispatching Mitch Stanley to the boundary with a lovely cut shot.

He's been very patient this morning after those couple of wickets for Lancashire's James Anderson got the hosts back into it. And there are his rewards.

Compton has quietened the home crowd too after that raucous start.

Patel will know he's missed out there but all it does for Worcestershire is bring in the Surrey skipper Rory Burns.
