    Durham 0-0 v Sussex 361

    Here we go then.

It's going to be Ollie Robinson who opens the bowling for Sussex with Alex Lees and Emilio Gay opening for Durham

We can expect Jofra Archer to bowl the second over but it has just started to spit with rain....surely not another delay for the England man?

Ishan Kishan is on the charge at Trent Bridge.

He charges George Hill and absolutely belts hi back down the ground for six.

He tries to repeat the trick next ball, but doesn't quite catch it and picks up two.

Hill then responds well, but Kishan gets a thick outside edge that flies to the boundary once more.

    He moves on to 79.

BBC Sport's Ask Me Anything team have been asking for your questions...

Here's one on how the scoring scoring system works in the County Championship.

How do points work in the County Championship?

In the County Championship, the maximum number of points a team can earn in one match is 24 points.

The winning team is awarded 16 points, while the losers are earn none for the result. Draws and a tie give teams eight points each.

On top of that, teams can earn up to eight additional bonus points based on their batting and bowling performances in the first innings of the match, even if the team goes on to lose the match.

During the first innings, a team can earn up to five batting bonus points, starting at 250 runs and maxing out at 450 or more.

When a team is bowling, it can earn up to three additional points depending on how many wickets are taken.

    Warwickshire v Somerset 360-3

    Hang that in the Louvre.

Tom Lammonby with the most sumptuous of straight drives past Ollie Hannon-Dalby for four.

    He's 97* now.

  5. Postpublished at 11:47 British Summer Time 23 June

    Worcs 209 v Surrey 77-0

It's all too easy for Surrey who are picking off the runs at will.

One edge from Ryan Patel for four is all the Worcestershire bowlers have managed to extract so far.

Ryan Patel is leading the way with 53 and Dom Sibley is doing Dom Sibley things on 21.

Worcestershire were four wickets down at the same stage of their innings.

  6. SUSSEX ALL OUT FOR 361published at 11:43 British Summer Time 23 June

    Sandhu b Drissell 8 (Durham v Sussex 361)

Gurinder Sandhu is feeling confident now, maybe too confident as he unfurls the reverse sweep but misses and he is bowled by George Drissell.

James Coles finished unbeaten on 148 and that last wicket added 47 valuable runs, earning an extra bonus point along the way.

Next up, Jofra Archer will get a bowl.

  7. 350 and a third batting point for Somersetpublished at 11:36 British Summer Time 23 June

    Warwickshire v Somerset 351-3

That's 350 and a third batting bonus point for the away side with 16.5 overs left to get to 400 which is certainly achievable, I feel they'll disregard the 450 thought.

Could be crucial if this is a high scoring four-day draw.

  8. Postpublished at 11:36 British Summer Time 23 June

    Durham v Sussex 355-9

This is now officially frustrating for Durham with the Sussex last wicket adding 41 runs so far.

Gurinder Sandhu may be batting number 11 but the Australian does have 1000 first-class runs with a highest score of 97 not out.

Ben Raine is on for Durham now - can he finish this off?

  9. Postpublished at 11:36 British Summer Time 23 June

    Notts 327-6 v Yorkshire

Ishan Kishan is unfurling his full array of shots at Trent Bridge.

Will O'Rourke bangs one in short to the Nottinghamshire left-hander, who responds by backing away and upper-cutting it over the slips for four.

Teammate Ben Slater lets out an appreciative gasp of admiration on commentary.

  10. Postpublished at 11:31 British Summer Time 23 June

    Warwickshire v Somerset 345-3

Tom Lammonby gets going this morning by cracking two boundaries off Ollie Hannon-Dalby albeit one helped for four by Che Simmons comical dive.

OHD then puts a very straight silly mid on in, yet to no avail but certainly in Lammonby's eye line.

  11. 50 runs

50 for Ryan Patelpublished at 11:31 British Summer Time 23 June

    Worcs 209 v Surrey 71-0

Ryan Patel batting for SurreyImage source, PA Media

A rare opportunity for Ryan Patel to open the batting for Surrey and he's making the most of it.

His 10th first-class half century has come from 71 balls with nine fours.

Worcestershire have got to find a breakthrough.

  12. 300 runs

350 up for Durhampublished at 11:28 British Summer Time 23 June

    Durham v Sussex 350-9

Durham have turned to the spin of George Drissell but his first two deliveries contain one on leg stump and a full toss.

James Coles and Gurinder Sandhu have now added 36 runs for the 10th wicket.

  13. Postpublished at 11:27 British Summer Time 23 June

    Essex 296 v Hants 4-0

Sam Cook is back in Essex colours and has the new ball in his hands.

Hampshire opener Ali Orr shapes to leave the first delivery of the innings, but only manages to run it off the face of the bat to third for four.

    Unconvincing.

  14. Postpublished at 11:27 British Summer Time 23 June

    Warwickshire v Somerset 327-3

A rare loose delivery from Ed Barnard's last delivery ruins what would have been another maiden for the former Pear.

Tom Abell tucking off his legs for four to go to 27*, Somerset in no rush for bonus points here seemingly, though 400 is still on in 110 overs whilst 450 is probably out of reach now.

  15. Postpublished at 11:24 British Summer Time 23 June

    Durham v Sussex 344-9

James Coles tries to send a Bas de Leede delivery over the rope but hasn't got enough on it.

Alex Lees is circling around and takes the catch but is off balance and so has to throw the ball back into play to ensure it doesn't go for six.

Graham Clark was trying to get around to complete a relay catch but didn't quite make it but it's still great commitment from Durham skipper Lees in the field.

I could title this 'dropped catch' but it seems a little harsh...

  16. wicket

MIDDLESEX ALL OUT FOR 413published at 11:24 British Summer Time 23 June

    Cracknell c Harrison b Guthrie 112 (Northants v Middlesex 413)

Joe Cracknell, Middlesex CCC acknowledges the applause following his innings of 112Image source, Rex Features

Joe Cracknell's excellent innings for Middlesex ends on 112 as he becomes the seventh victim of Liam Guthrie (a career best 7-94), who has virtually been a one-man attack for Northants.

But Middlesex bank four batting points thanks to a fantastic rearguard display, having been in real trouble at one stage on Sunday, down to 160-6.

Cracknell shared fine stands with Luke Hollman (51), Zahar Gofar (34) and last man Toby Roland-Jones (42no) to put Middlesex - under new head coach Dane Vilas - firmly in the driving seat.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:23 British Summer Time 23 June

    Crane c Handscomb b Green 1 (Leicestershire v Glamorgan 316-8)

Peter Handscomb has five catches, Somerset loanee Ben Green has another three wickets in a Leicestershire white shirt.

Just one off 11 balls for the former England leg-spinner who has shown in recent years more promise with his batting. But an inside edge, similar to van der Gugten's, brings his downfall with a little bit of seam movement.

  18. 6 runs

Postpublished at 11:19 British Summer Time 23 June

    Durham v Sussex 343-9

Gurinder Sandhu gets an edge but it falls just short of Colin Ackermann at second slip.

We are nearly 20 minutes into the morning and it's already looking a little frustrating for Durham.

Just to rub salt into the wounds, James Coles pulls Matthew Potts away to the square-leg boundary for a maximum followed by a four to the same area.

Coles now has 136 - he was dropped on 35 yesterday...

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:17 British Summer Time 23 June

    Evison c Bohannon b Anderson 0 (Lancashire v Kent 219-5)

    Rolling back the years.

Two wickets in two overs for 42-year-old James Anderson.

And it's almost a replica of the first. Joey Evison out for a duck, simple catch for Josh Bohannon again.

  20. Five-wicket haul for Kyle Abbottpublished at 11:16 British Summer Time 23 June

    Essex 296 v Hants

Kyle Abbott of Hampshire celebrates taking the wicket of Shane SnaterImage source, Rex Features

Shane Snater runs at Kyle Abbott, attempting to hit the South African seamer back over his head, but only succeeding in slicing it down to deep third.

James Fuller runs in off the boundary and takes a good catch diving forward.

Abbott finishes with figures of 5-26 off 19.1 overs. There were 10 maidens in there too, for good measure.

Essex are all out for 296.
