Rob Yates was first to go after lunch for 42 and the Bears then subsided from 138-3 to 157-6 in the space of five overs.

With four overs to go to tea Warwickshire are now six down. Ed Barnard is the latest to go as debutant Brendan Doggett has him caught at mid-on for 12.

Doggett has taken wickets in consecutive overs. Sam Hain was caught down the legside by Ollie Robinson on 30 in his previous over.

It has clouded over here and got a bit gloomy in the last hour or so and maybe the change in conditions is helping the bowlers. But Warwickshire have a battle on their hands at the moment.

He made a tidy 57 from 145 deliveries at a perfect time for his side, who lead by 135 with five wickets now remaining in their second innings.

The Kent batters will not have enjoyed seeing that bounce, however, despite their glee at 41-run stand with Ben Geddes.

Glamorgan have ticked along to 74-1 at Bristol, following Gloucestershire's mammoth 546.

Derbyshire have rattled along to 205-6 from 50 overs of their reply to Leicestershire's 484 at Grace Road, though still face a stiff battle to avoid the follow-on.
