  1. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 42.4 overs

    Taylor c Bairstow b Coad 0 (Yorks 456 v Worcs 113-6)

Tom Taylor is non-plussed by a ball from Ben Coad which jags back in off the seam and an inside edge results in an easy catch behind the stumps for Jonny Bairstow.

That's three wickets in the innings now for Coad, who sadly seems to be one of those players, like Essex's Sam Cook, highly skilled but may never play international cricket.

Don't forget, by the way, that Worcestershire were 90-0 not that long ago.

Captain Brett D'Oliveira makes a belated entrance for the start of his innings.

  2. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 12 April

    Jones LBW B Broad 14 (Lancs 22-1 v Northants 496)

Justin Broad is in the attack and strikes with his fourth ball!

Michael Jones is trapped on the crease, hit on the knee roll in front of middle stump.

Off stump line with a hint of movement into the opener.

Josh Bohannon is in at three for Lancashire.

  3. Postpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 12 April

    Surrey 253 v Hants 189-8

Four more runs to Kyle Abbott, who goes back and lifts a short ball from Matt Fisher over mid wicket.

More off the toe of the bat than the middle and it was in the air for a while before landing safely and trickling over the rope.

    64 behind.

  4. 'Somerset will need to bat like Worcestershire last week'published at 15:18 British Summer Time 12 April

    Sussex 294 & 105-0 v Somerset 201

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

The way things are going we're going to have to bat like Worcestershire did at Taunton in the last game.

They're going to have to bat for at least a day, it's looking like.

I can't see John Simpson leaving a gettable target. Somerset have simply got to bowl Sussex out if they are to have any chance in this game.

  5. 50 runs

50 for Daniel Hughespublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 12 April

    Sussex 294 & 104-0 v Somerset 201

Daniel Hughes reaches a half-century from 73 balls in 97 minutes.

He's hit ten fours along the way and it opening partner Tom Haines is approaching 50 too - he's on 45.

Jack Leach has been brought on by Somerset to see if he can break this opening partnership.

  6. Postpublished at 36.4 overs

    Durham 387 v Warwicks 132-3

Dan Mousley really does play some wonderful shots.

An on-drive, with minimum fuss, brings him four runs off Ben Raine and he is 18 not out, with partner Sam Hain on 29.

  7. Postpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 12 April

    Lancs 22-0 v Northants 496

Michael Jones is half forward, steering a ball from Luke Procter wide of the slips and through deep third for four.

The next delivery is a no ball and pushed into cover.

The last ball of the over is short and swiped square for one.

  8. 100 up for Sussexpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 12 April

    Sussex 294 & 104-0 v Somerset 201

    Serene Sussex progress.

    They lead by 197.

  9. Division Two updatepublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 12 April

    #bbccricket

Kent pick up another big wicket as Joey Evison somehow squeezes the ball past Ryan Higgins' defensive push and uproots his off stump.

Middlesex are 95-4, leading by 99, with six wickets in hand.

Caleb Jewell's fine knock at Grace Road comes to an end at 83, chopped in half by Ben Mike and having his leg stump obliterated.

Derbyshire are 146-6, still 338 behind Leicestershire's total.

Zain ul-Hassan has departed for 28 at Bristol where Glamorgan are 44-1, still 502 adrift of Gloucestershire's total. Sam Northeast comes in at three.

  10. 50 runs

50 for Jordan Coxpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 12 April

    Notts 347 v Essex 143-2

Jordan Cox battingImage source, Rex Features

Jordan Cox helps himself to a four as he reaches a half-century from 67 deliveries.

There's been a little flurry of boundaries as Cox and Walter make it to a 100 partnership as well - Walter hit a six which was followed by consecutive fours from Cox.

They were both in the runs last week and are again today.

  11. Postpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 12 April

    Surrey 253 v Hants 181-8

Single to Brad Wheal off his first ball and Kyle Abbott picks up four runs with a push into the covers off the back foot.

10 runs off the Dan Worrall over plus the wicket of Tom Prest.

72 behind. How close can Hampshire get?

  12. 'Surrey have put the squeeze on Hampshire batters'published at 15:06 British Summer Time 12 April

    Surrey 253 v Hants 176-8

    Kevin Howells
BBC 5 Live Sports Extra at The Oval

It's sharp fielding. Good work. Surrey have put the squeeze on Hampshire.

Tom Prest will be angry and annoyed he's out. He's punched the back of his bat - he'll have to be careful about that.

I want to ask him how mentally tired he is, because there's been no let-up out there today at all.

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 12 April

    Prest c Patel b Worrall 44 (Surrey 253 v Hants 176-8)

Tom Prest looks up in the heavens in despair as he gets a short ball angled into him and glances a catch to Ryan Patel at short leg.

Great catch. That ball flew off the bat and Patel appeared to take that just in front of his eyebrows, falling backward.

Dan Worrall has his third wicket and will now bowl to Brad Wheal.

  14. Postpublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 12 April

    Lancs 11-0 v Northants 496

Luke Procter bowls to Michael Jones, who is beaten outside the off stump and Lewis McManus fumbles the ball behind the stumps.

No contact with the bat though.

Maiden over. Has any other Northants captain opened the batting and the bowling?

    Asking for a friend.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 38.3 overs

    Waite c Hill b Coad 1 (Yorks 456 v Worcs 111-5)

    Ben CoadImage source, Rex Features

    It's a procession.

Matthew Waite was one of Worcestershire's batting heroes last weekend when his unbeaten 87 helped them hang on for a draw with Somerset.

This time, he is gone to the fourth ball he faces, caught at first slip by George Hill - just.

It is straight into Hill's midriff, but he fails to take it cleanly and has to dive to his right to finally snatch it with his right hand.

  16. Postpublished at 15:00 British Summer Time 12 April

    Sussex 294 & 87-0 v Somerset 201

Somerset bowlers are finding it tough going against Sussex openers Daniel Hughes (41*) and Tom Haines (38*)

Sussex's lead now stands at 180.

  17. 'Important partnership is broken'published at 14:58 British Summer Time 12 April

    Surrey 253 v Hants 166-7

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

It's one that nipped back and bounced. It's come off the pad and looped to slip. It's a good ball from Jordan Clark

Brett Hampton's gone. That partnership with Tom Prest which was just turning things around for Hampshire is broken.

It was a partnership of 48 at slightly better than a run a minute.

I feel Hampshire need to get a bit closer here.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 37.2 overs

    Hose c Bean b Thompson 1 (Yorks 456 v Worcs 106-4)

The Worcestershire decline continues and that is a fantastic catch.

Adam Hose edges a good one from Jordan Thompson and Finlay Bean dives to his right at third slip and takes it just millimetres above the grass.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:57 British Summer Time 12 April

    Hampton c Pope b Clark 26 (Surrey 253 v Hants 166-7)

    Brett HamptonImage source, Rex Features

Jordan Clark bowls from the Pavilion End and Brett Hampton is caught by Ollie Pope at first slip!

Movement off the seam on a length and inside edged into the pads.

Great grab from Pope, diving forward and taking it inches off the turf.

A valuable Hampshire stand of 48 is broken and Kyle Abbott is in next.

  20. Postpublished at 32.3 overs

    Durham 387 v Warwicks 118-3

    Hello.

Dan Mousley takes two steps down the pitch to Ben Raine and lifts the medium-pacer over mid-on for four.
