Summary

  1. 'It's definitely gettable'published at 03:16 21 June

Australia spinner Adam Zampa after returning figures of 2-24: "Not too bad, we obviously had the experience of playing here last week. It's a little bit different to last week."

Do you feel a master of your craft?: "If I don't feel it, I at least try to look like I feel it. I work on my planning to get wickets."

Confident of chasing 141?: "It's definitely gettable and if we bat well, we can definitely do it."

  2. AUSTRALIA NEED 141 TO WINpublished at 03:13 21 June
    Breaking

The covers are on as a shower hits the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. Hopefully it is nothing more and Australia can get their chase under way shortly.

It was a fine bowling effort from Mitchell Marsh's side. Pat Cummins took a hat-trick, of course, while Adam Zampa impressed again in taking 2-24.

  3. Ban 140-8published at 20 overs

Bangladesh drag themselves up to 140 as a bit of drizzle starts to fall in Antigua.

It's something to defend but Australia will be very confident of chasing it down and starting their Super 8s with a win.

Hridoy has been fantastic in these last few overs, but they are three really good wickets for Pat Cummins. Australia really have Bangladesh where they want them now.

    Hridoy c Hazlewood b Cummins 40 (Ban 133-8)

    HAT-TRICK!

Pat Cummins becomes just the second Australian to take a hat-trick at a men's T20 World Cup.

Towhid Hridoy went for the ramp but it was a slower ball and he didn't have the pace to work with.

Despite the batter's best efforts he can't get it over Josh Hazlewood at short fine leg and Cummins can celebrate again.

We've been deceived by some low-scoring games and grounds in this tournament, Bangladesh have been involved in a few of them. They will be hoping this can be another.

  8. Ban 133-7published at 19 overs

I'm not sure quite how but Bangladesh have got two from Taskin Ahmed essentially blocking the ball back to the right of the bowler.

Josh Hazlewood tries to flick it back onto the stumps at the non-striker's end, Taskin was miles out but the throw misses and they scamper back for two.

It proves even more costly as Taskin gets the last ball through extra cover for four!

It was a needless first shot. Bangladesh are trying to kick on the gears quickly, but that is always the risk in the final overs. Bangladesh really need to put on something competitive here.

  10. WICKETpublished at 18 overs

    Mahedi c Zampa b Cummins 0 (Ban 122-7)

Two in two for Pat Cummins!

Mahedi Hasan uses the pace of the ball and tries to just chop it down to the deep third boundary.

Well, he does so but Adam Zampa is stationed there and takes a simple catch.

I think Bangladesh might take that 130ish that Oli (02:58) suggested now...

It looked like Mahmudullah took his eyes off the ball and chopped onto his own stumps. He'll be disappointed not to have added to the total. Now Mahedi can come in and hit a few.

  12. WICKETpublished at 17.5 overs

    Mahmudullah b Cummins 2 (Ban 122-6)

    Another one down.

Banged in by Pat Cummins, the experienced Mahmudullah tries to take it on with a pull shot but can only drag it onto his stumps.

Bangladesh might be aiming a tad higher after that last over, Oli.

But whatever they end up with, I think their bowlers will have to be at the top of their games to give them a chance.

Bangladesh needed an over like that. A 14-run over may sound modest in T20 cricket, but it has pushed them towards 120, can they now kick on and take that further?

  16. Ban 117-5published at 17 overs

A single from the last keeps Towhd Hridoy on strike.

That'll do nicely for Bangladesh. He looks like the man capable of lifting them up to a somewhat competitive total.

Hridoy has been by far Bangladesh's strongest batter at this tournament. Calm as you like, he is a good player to have in for these final five overs.

  18. Ban 116-5published at 16.4 overs

    Back-to-back sixes for Towhid Hridoy!

Brilliant hitting from the Bangladesh right-hander!

He wallops the first over cow corner then whips the next effortlessly over deep square leg.

A huge, huge wicket for Australia. Shakib Al Hasan had the role of attacking Australia's bowlers. Shakib has not looked comfortable today. A few times today, the ball has dropped between fielders. Disappointing for him, he has not got going today.

Leading edge and Shakib Al Hasan is gone.

Marcus Stoinis kept a very tight line, Shakib tried to work the ball to leg but is through the shot too soon and it balloons up.

Stoinis comes through to take a straightforward catch off his own bowling.
