    Rishad Hossain goes cheaply.

Glenn Maxwell strikes with the last ball before drinks as Rishad skips down the track but skews the ball in the air towards short third.

It's a good catch from Adam Zampa, going back to take it as the ball spun over his shoulder.

    Another blow for Bangladesh.

Nicely played from Najmul, nicely on to the back foot. These are the overs Australia have to make up and they are using Maxwell. The four overs of the fifth bowler is where Bangladesh have to target.

  3. Ban 66-2published at 9.4 overs

More spin for Australia as Glenn Maxwell comes on.

After a decent start, Najmul Hossain Shanto goes back and punches him through the covers for four.

    Lovely shot.

Bangladesh have got a platform to launch now with just over 11 overs to go. They've thrown Rishad up the order to play some shots, why not!

  5. Ban 60-2published at 9 overs

Rishad Hossain is the new batter for Bangladesh and, despite the way Litton Das fell, he goes for a sweep first ball.

He misses as well, is hit on the pad but the ball was sliding down leg.

Just three runs, plus the wicket, from an impressive Adam Zampa over.

It had been a really good partnership for Bangladesh. I don't think it's the worst thing.

Litton Das played an anchoring innings but it won't have worried Australia. It is time for Bangladesh to keep motoring and moving towards a good total.

    Adam Zampa strikes!

Litton Das had started to get going after a very slow start but he is bowled on the sweep.

Zampa's line is as tight as ever and the ball skids through, brushing the pad before thudding into middle stump.

The end of a handy partnership for Bangladesh.

Adam Zampa is remarkably consistent in T20 international cricket - to the point his record against left-handers and right-handers is identical. He averages 22 against both and has an economy rate of 7.2 against both.

  9. Ban 57-1published at 8 overs

There was a bit of good fortune but Bangladesh take 10 from the Marcus Stoinis over.

They've really picked it up after scoring only eight runs in the first three overs.

Adam Zampa will try to slow them down as he prepares to bowl his second over...

Edged... and over Matthew Wade for four!

Some luck for Najumul Hossain Shanto as Marcus Stoinis walks back to his mark shaking his head.

That brings up the fifty partnership.

  11. Ban 47-1published at 7 overs

Just the one boundary from the over but it's another decent over for Bangladesh with eight coming from it.

Australia won't be too concerned just yet, though.

Adam Zampa is a key man for Australia but the leg-spinner sees his second ball thumped for four through mid-wicket by Najmul Hossain Shanto.

The Bangladesh captain is starting to motor.

Bangladesh have started to grow at the back of that powerplay. 39-1 is a steady six overs for them.

  14. Ban 39-1published at 6 overs

The powerplay ends with Bangladesh in a far healthier position that it looked like being three overs ago.

A bouncer from Pat Cummins that sails over Matthew Wade for five wides definitely helps.

    Decent recovery from the Tigers.

A pretty relaxed shot from Shanto there. A nice touch. That will help the captain come out of his slump.

  16. Ban 32-1published at 5 overs

    Shot!

Pat Cummins is into the attack and Najmul Hossain Shanto casually flicks his second legitimate delivery away for four through the leg side.

  18. Ban 27-1published at 5 overs

    Four more for Litton Das.

This one comes off the outside edge and goes at a catchable height. But it is out of reach of the fielder diving at short third.

    A better over for Bangladesh.

If Bangladesh can get to the powerplay having only lost one wicket, that is real progress. Their biggest concern will be not scoring enough runs in these first six overs.

  20. Ban 21-1published at 4.3 overs

From nowhere, Litton Das springs into action with a lovely pick-up shot to dispatch Mitchell Starc to the mid-wicket boundary!
