Harmanpreet Kaur opens the face of her bat and guides Linsey Smith towards deep third.

It's hit with good timing, but the ball just comes to a stop on the slow outfield, with India running three.

India add seven more to their total in that over.

I think 300 is the dream number. If India could add another 100 runs to this score, they'd probably be happy with that.

  8. Ind 177-3published at 36 overs

Linsey Smith replaces Sophie Ecclestone for England.

The change of ends seems to work for her as the left-arm spinner gives away just three runs from the over.

Sophie Ecclestone has bowled brilliantly, 10 overs, 1-28. She's the one that leads this attack. She's probably aa bit frustrated at the few where she has been driven but that's only happened because she's been trying to create opportunities for her team.

  13. Ind 167-3published at 34 overs

Jemimah Rodrigues joins India captain Harmanpreet Kaur in the middle.

And she gets off the mark in style, driving Sophie Ecclestone and threading her shot through the gap in the field.

Ecclestone finishes the allocation with figures of 1-28.

India were starting to assert some control, Lauren Bell comes up with a breakthrough.

It's Harleen Deol who departs after walking down the wicket to work the ball to the leg side and only managing to top edge it into the hands of Nat Sciver-Brunt at short mid-wicket.

A priceless wicket for England at this stage of the innings.

If I was India, I'd be pushing to try and get over 300. It's looked a pretty good pitch to be fair. The India spinners will be the standouts, we've seen how effective Sophie Ecclestone and Charlie Dean have been.

  18. Ind 156-2published at 32 overs

It looked like another brilliant over from Sophie Ecclestone, who bowls five dot balls on the trot.

But Harmanpreet Kaur decides to launch into another drive off the final ball. It is well-timed and races away to the boundary through the cover.

It brings up another milestone for the India captain as she passes 4,000 runs in ODIs.

  19. Ind 152-2published at 31 overs

Harleen Deol plays an upper cut towards third, but the fielder there, Lauren Filer, slips and the India batters are quick to run a second.

Harmanpreet Kaur then moves into 30 from 38 balls with a single off the fifth ball of Lauren Bell's over.
