That is a beautiful cover drive from Harmanpreet Kaur, no one was stopping that.

'That's a lovely shot!' - Kaur drills Ecclestone delivery through cover for four

Just one run from Sophie Ecclestone's first five deliveries.

But Harmanpreet Kaur drives the final ball of the over brilliantly through the cover and it runs away to the boundary, even with a sluggish outfield.

That's a good shot from Harleen Deol who relieves a bit of the pressure that was building.

  4. Ind 142-2published at 29 overs

Harleen Deol then pummels Lauren Bell over midwicket for her fourth boundary of the innings and moves to 39 from 55 balls.

That's cue for England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt to bring back Sophie Ecclestone, who will bowl her eighth over next.

Linsey Smith has struggled to find her lines today with just 24% of her balls bowled challenging the stumps.

In her previous three ODI performances for England, her hitting the stumps figure has been close to 50%.

  6. Ind 137-2published at 28.1 overs

Nat Sciver-Brunt turns to a two-pronged pace attack as Lauren Bell replaces Linsey Smith at the other end.

Her first ball, however, is drifting towards leg and is flicked away for a single by Harmanpreet Kaur.

England miss chance to take Kaur wicket after declining to take lbw review

Lauren Filer has a half-hearted appeal after striking Harmanpreet Kaur on the pad off the second ball of the over, but not many of her team-mates are interested and England run out of time to review.

Looks like it has hit her high, but guess what, the ball tracking shows three reds again! That's the second time it has happened today!

Five runs come off Filer's over but she could have very much had a wicket there!

The way the runs have flowed since Sophie Ecclestone has been taken out of the attack is evident.

  9. Ind 131-2published at 27 overs

India continue to consolidate slowly but surely as Harmanpreet Kaur now exquisitely cuts Linsey Smith to the boundary through the point.

In contrasting fashion, Harleen Deol takes a wild swing from the final ball and skews it in the air, but the ball lands safely.

Harmanpreet Kaur drives it beautifully, times it exquisitely. Beautiful shot.

  12. Ind 123-2published at 26 overs

India captain Harmanpreet Kaur has not had the best of tours, with the bat at least, and will be desperate to leave her mark here today.

After three singles from the first three balls of Lauren Filer's over, Kaur helps the fourth delivery behind point and into the rope before keeping the strike with a single off the final ball.

An intriguing second half of the innings coming up. Let's see who will come out on top in this decider.

    Halfway there!

A lot of spin has been bowled which means we have whizzed through. India need to get going, but have got wickets in hand which could be crucial if they are to finish strongly.

Here's Adwaidh Rajan to take you through the second half of the innings.

The batters have taken a little longer than usual to get settled in but it's good to see them now being aggressive.

    About time!

Harleen Deol advances down the pitch to Linsey Smith and plays a glorious lofted drive over mid-off for four.

  17. Ind 108-2published at 24 overs

Nat Sciver-Brunt turns back to pace and this could be a chance for India to kick on... or not. Just four from Lauren Filer's over.

Harleen Deol has 21 from 36 balls and Harmanpreet Kaur has 10 from 22. How long can they afford to keep going like this?

England take 'big wicket' as Mandhana caught for 45 by Dunkley at mid-wicket

An exceptionally tight first seven overs from Ecclestone, conceding just 14 runs from her 42 balls.

Of the 66 times she’s bowled seven overs in an ODI, this is her ninth most economical performance.

A total 58% of Ecclestone’s first seven overs today would have gone on to hit the stumps - the third highest in any ODI of her career to date.

  19. Ind 103-2published at 22 overs

If India's approach is to just survive Ecclestone's spell, they really need to make sure they are attacking the others and that isn't happening yet.

It's been a curious approach since the end of the powerplay.
