  1. Aus 234-6published at 44 overs

    A decent over for Australia.

Dwarshuis gets an outside edge that races away for four, before Alex Carey adds a couple with a mis-timed paddle over the keeper's head.

It sails over the fielder's head! That was a much-needed six for Australia.

They need another 50 runs to really be competitive.

    That's more like it.

Ben Dwarshuis has had enough of the blocking, and slog sweeps Kuldeep Yadav into the stands.

    More of that, please.

We know that Dwarshuis can bat, we've seen him before, but at the moment he looks like a number 10, not a number eight.

Those last two wickets have changed everything for India.

  6. Aus 217-6published at 42 overs

Alex Carey will have to be smart about how he farms the strike here.

Ben Dwarshuis is struggling against the spinners and using up far too many deliveries, with four from 15 so far.

India will be delighted with this, balls are being eaten up.

Australia shouldn't be happy with this total. I personally see nothing wrong with this pitch. It is slow, but not as slow as other pitches we have seen in this tournament.

  8. Aus 214-6published at 41 overs

Brilliant from Kuldeep Yadav, just a single from his over.

Rohit Sharma has rotated the spinners so well. Axar Patel and Jadeja have two overs left each, while Kuldeep and Chakravarthy have three.

Alex Carey has placed that ball to perfection. He got down on one knee and timed and placed it perfectly.

It has been a very intelligent innings from him.

  10. Aus 213-6published at 40 overs

Alex Carey continues to counter-attack, as he reverse-sweeps Axar Patel for four.

    10 overs to go...

  11. Aus 207-6published at 39 overs

Australia have got to knock it around for a while and milk it for a few overs. Then, Alex Carey can cut loose but you can't take that risk too early.

  13. Aus 206-6published at 38 overs

Ben Dwarshuis gets off the mark first ball.

Alex Carey has got to be there at the end for Australia.

And just like that the game changes. Axar Patel fired that one in a little bit quicker.

    A massive, massive wicket.

The perfect comeback from Axar Patel. India have struck a monster blow!

    Well, that was short-lived.

Fuller and quicker from Axar Patel, and Maxwell is bowled trying to play it off the back foot.

A huge couple of wickets for India.

  17. 6 runs

    Aus 205-5published at 37.2 overs

    Here he goes!

Maxwell sweeps his fourth ball for six to take Australia past 200.

  18. Aus 199-5published at 37 overs

13 overs left. If Glenn Maxwell is able to bat most of those, India will be in trouble.

A disappointing dismissal but a much-needed breakthrough for India. Steve Smith is annoyed. He knows it was there to hit. It was an attempted yorker and it looks worse because Smith came down the pitch.

If Maxwell comes in and comes off now, Australia are still on for 300.

    Breakthrough!

Steve Smith's fine innings comes to an end as he charges down the pitch to Mohammed Shami, who fires it in fuller and hits off stump.

Smith shakes his head in disappointment. He falls just as Australia were starting to dominate.
