Sophie Ecclestone can give you a big wicket and she is hard to score against, so it's unsurprising that she is coming on. She is tall so bowls from a nice height.

Heather Knight usually turns to Ecclestone or Nat Sciver-Brunt however Sciver-Brunt hasn't had her best day today.

  2. Aus 91-2published at 15 overs

Sophie Ecclestone gets one to turn and bounce which spins one past the sweep shot of Beth Mooney as well as wicketkeeper Amy Jones.

Four byes, but some encouragement for the left-arm spinner from her first over.

Right then, Sophie Ecclestone. England's premier bowler into the attack after drinks.

Heather Knight wants ICC to help 'forgotten' Afghanistan team playing in Australia

If you have a couple of minutes it's worth listening to England captain Heather Knight on this particular subject.

    A bit of liquid refreshment.

England need to position their square field really carefully here, because Beth Mooney and Alyssa Healy are elite sweepers. Both average 29 sweeping spinners, with brutal strike rates - 217 and 186 respectively.

  7. Aus 85-2published at 14 overs

Charlie Dean gets on to grip and turn but there's too much dross in among some good balls.

Alyssa Healy sweeps her for four, then Beth Mooney punishes a drag down and it's the same result.

There is a different aura about this Australia team. You can tell they want to win outright and they won't settle for anything else.

Whereas England just want to compete. They will try to put pressure on but they don't believe that they can win.

  9. Aus 75-2published at 13 overs

More intent from Australia as Beth Mooney chips Nat Sciver-Brunt over mid-on for four. Runs flowing for Australia now.

  10. How's stat?!published at 04:05 Greenwich Mean Time

Australia had a few scares in that first 10 overs, but they've shown a lot of intent. The hosts left just 3% of the balls bowled to them - England left 14% of their deliveries at the same stage.

  11. Aus 70-2published at 12.2 overs

Nat Sciver-Brunt does not quite have the pace to be banging it in short to a batter of Alyssa Healy's quality. The Australia captain spins on her heels and emphatically pulls Sciver-Brunt's third ball for four.

Sophie Ecclestone usually bowls immediately after the powerplay for England, but there's a reason why she's being held back today.

She ought to be protected from Beth Mooney for as long as possible - the Australia batter averages 101.33 against left-arm spin in ODIs.

  13. Aus 60-2published at 12 overs

Charlie Dean conceded eight runs in a relatively expensive first over but gives away just a single from her next six balls. No sign of Sophie Ecclestone, just yet.

An interesting field here from England. All but two fielders are inside the ring. Everyone is in quite close together which suggests they have a plan here for Beth Mooney.

  15. Aus 59-2published at 11 overs

Heather Knight resists the urge to give Lauren Bell a sixth over and tosses the ball to Nat Sciver-Brunt instead. Beth Mooney and Alyssa Healy seem fairly relaxed against the England all-rounder who is hanging it up on a length and letting the ball do the work.

Mooney finishes the over with a boundary, confidently dispatching Sciver-Brunt through the covers for four.

Lauren Bell has been working a lot on her technique.

She used to bowl wider of the cease but now she bowls a lot closer to the stumps. That gives her the freedom to bowl both away swing and in-swing which allows her to be more unpredictable.

  17. Aus 53-2published at 10 overs

Spin for the first time today for England as Charlie Dean comes into the attack.

Alyssa Healy has the measure of her thus far, picking off fours by driving through the covers and sweeping all along the carpet.

England will probably bring some spin into play after the powerplay. I would be wanting to bring Sophie Ecclestone in as as soon as possible.

Lauren Bell has a very impressive 1-6 from five overs so far.

A great review from England. Ellyse Perry was dropped early on but thankfully it hasn't been too costly for England.

They have found themselves with two wickets in the powerplay and they are keeping the game alive.
