    Gambhir has failed as a coach, he lost to New Zealand in India as a home series and his tactics and selections have been embarrassing. The obsession with all-rounders is weird and shows a scrambled brain. Bumrah's best years have been wasted with coaches who don't know what they are doing.

    The only way for India here is to pick wickets, not just one or two but a collapse. But for that to happen, Shubman Gill has to do something different. India have tried the usual method but maybe they need something different, maybe getting in Washington Sundar with the new ball.

    This is where Shubman Gill can learn something from someone like Ben Stokes, who makes things happen and is ready to take a gamble.
