This will be an innings that England will feel they could have scored more from.

I don't know what those stumps have done to Sophie Molineux but she threw that as hard as she could from about three yards away!

Sophie Ecclestone has to face all remaining balls here for me because she is a boundary hitter.

    Smith run out (Voll/Molineux) 3 (Eng 236-9)

Bang. Sophie Molineux has just hurled down the stumps.

Good throw from Georgia Voll, Linsey Smith was out by a distance.

Charlie Dean is not happy with herself there. Her bat twisted in her hands as she tried to make contact.

England are in real danger of being bowled out, not for the first time in this tournament.

12 balls remaining. Charlie Dean and Sophie Ecclestone in the middle for England. They'll want 240-245.

Alice Capsey will be happy with that. She was looking for the boundary so you can't really blame her.

A decent knock to get England over 220.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 47.5 overs

    Capsey lbw b Molineux 38 (Eng 227-7)

Smashing into leg stump. Three reds. The finger goes back up but Alice Capsey is already over the rope.

A breezy and entertaining 38 (32). Thanks Alice. England needed that.

Alice Capsey will surely review it - she might as well. That feels sensible.

The finger goes up. Alice Capsey has been given out lbw.

Reluctantly, she reviews it. She was wandering off.

Great little period for England here with Alice Capsey and Charlie Dean at the crease.

Their partnership of 60 has seen just 32% dot balls and the run rate shoot up to 7.5.

  14. Eng 223-6published at 47 overs

Doink. One-bounce four over mid-wicket for Alice Capsey. Down on one knee, untroubled by Annabel Sutherland's slower ball.

Oooh hooo! And then a cheeky ramped four from Charlie Dean.

    Finally some fun!

Australia have let quite a lot go to Alice Capsey - they have bowled a little bit too wide to her.

If England can get to 240, they will think of that as a good recovery.

When Australia walk this home by 10 wickets I'm looking forward to the explanations from England's management team...

If we do get to the final, playing Australia, we really need to think about who plays. So many missed chances to give a game to others.

    Maccio, Shropshire

I was worried earlier that we would have the dream game today and thrash Australia when it doesn’t count! Needn’t have worried, clearly saving it for next time!!

Four singles, a streaky edge past the keeper for four, and a single to finish.

Alice Capsey has 30 (26) and Charlie Dean has 19 (21).

Australia are letting England off the hook a little here.

  18. Eng 203-6published at 45 overs

Alice Capsey, where have you been? She hits Annabel Sutherland for back-to-back fours to bring up England's 200.

Both deliveries are rank, with Sutherland losing her length, and Capsey capitalises.

Five overs to go... dare we think about 250?

Oh Terry, don't give up hope just yet. And remember - Australia didn't win the last T20 World Cup. New Zealand won that one!

Charlie Dean and Alice Capsey add another four runs to England's tally. The seventh-wicket partnership is up to 28 (29).

It would save an awful lot of time and money to just give Australia the trophy on day one.
