    Beaumont c Voll b Sutherland 78 (Eng 147-4)

    The jubilation is short-lived.

Tammy Beaumont is undone by a slower delivery from Annabel Sutherland, who has varied her pace nicely, and picks out Georgia Voll on the boundary. The fielder does well to keep her composure, releasing the ball before she topples over the rope and then regathering.

    Beaumont departs for 78 (105).

Tammy Beaumont wants to have a go at Annabel Sutherland. You do have your conversations in the middle about who you want to try and attack.

  3. Eng 147-3published at 34.3 overs

Tammy Beaumont is trying to cut loose. A mis-timed drive goes just over mid-off. It's followed by a big swing and a miss and then... A BOUNDARY!

Yep, you read that right. A messy, tumbling ramp and it beats wicketkeeper Beth Mooney.

I would like to see Sophia Dunkley be a little bit more busy now. Tammy Beaumont needs to be there at 40 overs before she starts having some fun.

  5. Eng 141-3published at 34 overs

Four singles bookended by dot balls on Sophie Molineux's return to the attack.

It's not particularly exciting or expressive cricket, but England are rotating the strike.

If Australia can get a wicket in the next over or two, Alana King still has overs left to go at England's middle order.

  7. Eng 137-3published at 33 overs

Australia are saving Alana King's remaining two overs, with Annabel Sutherland coming into the attack.

Tammy Beaumont and Sophia Dunkley take a single each. They're having to dart for every run.

When do England try and accelerate? 40 overs maybe?

Alana King is demonstrating why she is one of the world’s best wrist spinners here. She has hit a good line and length with 56% of her deliveries and threatened the stumps with one in three deliveries.

These are the highest figures for any game of her World Cup so far and the best good line and length percentage of any match in her ODI career.

Five runs added. Tammy Beaumont and Sophie Dunkley have put on 30 (58) for the fourth wicket.

    Time for drinks.

Alana King has bowled beautifully. The pressure has really built up here and England have slowed down.

  12. Eng 130-3published at 31 overs

Well, that over had a little bit of everything.

A dramatic dive and near run out. An unsuccessful review for caught behind.

And then - brace yourself - the ball runs away to the rope. Alas, it's four byes, so we still haven't had a boundary off the bat since the 22nd over, but it's four to England's total.

Alana King is getting the ball to turn all over the shop.

You can understand why Australia took that upstairs as Beaumont was pressing forward. Beth Mooney was convinced but Alana King, not so much.

  14. Not outpublished at 30.3 overs

No wonder Tammy Beaumont didn't look worried - not a hint of bat.

Tammy Beaumont does not look that worried.

That was a last minute decision to go upstairs. There was a lot of discussion.

  17. Australia reviewpublished at 30.3 overs

Huge appeal for caught behind from Australia. There's a discussion between Alana King, Beth Mooney and Tahlia McGrath and with one second to go, captain McGrath sends it upstairs.

Is this the end for Tammy Beaumont?

England innings is stalling here and Australia’s spinners are getting a grip over this innings.

    • Overs 1-10: 55-1 (10 boundaries)
    • 11-20: 43-1 (6 boundaries)
    • 21-30: 26-1 (1 boundary)
  19. Eng 125-3published at 30.1 overs

Ohhh that was close! Sophia Dunkley darts for a single and Tammy Beaumont, running to the danger end, puts in a full length dive to get home safely.

A direct hit would have been curtains but Beaumont showed excellent commitment to the dive - she launched herself from about two-thirds of the way down the wicket, bat and arm outstretched, and has taken the skin off her elbow for her troubles.

  20. Eng 124-3published at 30 overs

A good over for England, with six runs from it. Tammy Beaumont and Sophia Dunkley are hustling between the stumps.

Ash Gardner also bowled the first wide of the day.
