    Hunter b Kemp 18 (Ire 51-1)

    That's the England breakthrough!

Full ball from Freya Kemp, Amy Hunter gets her bat down but sees the ball squeeze its way between bat and pad to break the stumps.

Ireland's fine start hits its first bump in the road.

  2. Ire 50-0published at 6 overs

Changes at both ends as 20-year-old leggie Hannah Baker replaces Kate Cross.

Hunter eases her for a couple of twos, before Baker takes a final ball single to bring up the fifty opening partnership.

This has been a bright start by Ireland. They haven't lost any wickets in the powerplay, which can be key in shortened matches like this one.

  4. Ire 41-0published at 5 overs

First change in the bowling for England as Freya Kemp replaces Lauren Filer.

She only concedes a couple of singles from her first five balls, but Hunter scoops her final delivery to the fine leg boundary for four.

  5. Ire 35-0published at 4 overs

Amy Hunter gets in on the action, whacking Cross into the leg side and seeing her ball just short of clearing the ropes - still four though.

Lewis then picks up her fifth boundary of the innings, timing the ball nicely through mid-wicket to just beat the chasing fielder.

That's the end of the powerplay.

  6. Ire 24-0published at 3 overs

Two fours for Gaby Lewis in the last over, two fours for Gaby Lewis in this over.

It was two off-side drives off Kate Cross, this time it's two uppish pulls behind square off Lauren Filer.

Two dot balls from the end of the over, but Lewis is still on 18 from 12.

This is good, brave batting by the Ireland captain who is getting down the pitch to negate the movement.

  8. Ire 13-0published at 2 overs

Lovely stuff from Gaby Lewis, the Ireland captain getting the best of her opposite number Kate Cross.

She takes two fours off the England skipper, driving through long-on and then smearing a second shot through the covers.

    A handy start from Ireland.

  9. Ire 3-0published at 1 over

Hunter gets off the mark from Filer's second ball, getting under a short one and scooping into the vacant short third area.

Gaby Lewis retains the strike from the over's final delivery with a miss-timed pull.

Ireland's target has been revised ever so slightly after three overs were lost early in the England innings - they're chasing 155 from their 22 overs, rather than 154.

Lauren Filer starts her run-up as though she's power walking in the Olympics.

  11. Ire 0-0published at 0.1 overs

    Right, off we go.

Ireland openers Amy Hunter and Gaby Lewis are at the crease - the former defends Lauren Filer's opening delivery.

    Thanks Ffion.

It's been a strange day - I didn't really expect to start my text commentary stint at tea time.

Absolutely brilliant from Aimee Maguire. Her first wicket really turned it round for Ireland, seeing a spinner giving it air at the close of an innings has been extraordinary to watch.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 20.5 overs

    Filer b A Maguire 5 (Eng 153)

And that's five! Great effort from Aimee Maguire.

She finishes with 5-19 and England are bowled out for 153 after a mad collapse of six wickets for just 46 runs.

Tammy Beaumont's 52 was the only notable score for England, followed by Paige Scholfield's 21.

Ireland need 154 to win from 22 overs.

Maguire's got a chance for a five-fer! Almost a languid swipe across the line...

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 20.1 overs

    Villiers c Paul b A Maguire 5 (Eng 150-9)

    Aimee Maguire has her fourth!

A bit of a hack from Mady Villiers, clubbing it straight to Leah Paul at mid-wicket and she barely has to move.

Hannah Baker is in at 11.

  18. Eng 150-8published at 20 overs

    Oh, that's village.

Lauren Filer gets off the mark with a boundary as Jane Maguire casually goes for a one-handed pickup at deep mid-wicket but completely misses and the ball trickles into the ropes.

Prendergast is not pleased at all, and rightly so.

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19.2 overs

    Macdonald-Gay c Lewis b Prendergast 17 (Eng 144-8)

Ryana Macdonald-Gay's fun little cameo comes to an end.

Orla Prendergast's extra pace does the trick as the youngster skews one straight up in the air for Gaby Lewis to take a comfortable catch at cover.

England need to make sure they bat the entirety of their 22 overs.

  20. Eng 144-7published at 19 overs

    It's sunny again now.

Honestly, this day has been extraordinary.
