  1. Eng 137-7published at 18 overs

18 runs off the over, which is frustrating for Ireland after they'd taken a flurry of wickets, but it wasn't really Alana Dalzell's fault. It was like bowling with a bar of soap.

It has eased but there's still some drizzle.

  2. Eng 134-7published at 17.3 overs

Alana Dalzell isn't happy. The seamer can't get her hands or the ball dry, letting one slip past the keeper for five wides.

Then, a full toss is clubbed for four by Ryana Macdonald-Gay. This is pretty shambolic - it may just be a passing shower so the umpires want it to blow over, but it's not fair.

  3. Eng 125-7published at 17.2 overs

Gorgeous shot from Macdonald-Gay, driving through the covers for four.

But ... it is absolutely hammering down with rain.

  4. Eng 119-7published at 17 overs

3-9 for Aimee Maguire from her two overs so far, brilliant effort.

Ryana Macdonald-Gay joins Mady Villiers in the middle.

What a sensational day out Maguire's having - getting that drift! Sensational stuff.

    Cross b A Maguire 3 (Eng 118-7)

    Dragged on! England's collapse continues.

Aimee Maguire has got the golden arm today as she takes her third, tempting Kate Cross into a cover drive with a much slower delivery. Cross is through the shot too early and edges the ball on to her stumps for just three.

This is such an improvement for Ireland from what we saw two days ago. Bodes well for the T20 series as well.

  8. Eng 115-6published at 16 overs

England have lost three wickets for eight runs in the space of two overs.

Mady Villiers and Kate Cross look to steady the ship.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15.3 overs

    Heath c Dalzell b Sargent 5 (Eng 114-6)

Ireland's spinners continue to work their magic!

Bess Heath looks to be aggressive, sweeping Freya Sargent, but gets a top edge that lands safely in Alana Dalzell's hands at short fine leg.

Kate Cross comes to the middle and England need another captain's knock.

A really rash shot there from Scholfield. That one was full, straight, and it was actually there to be hit if she went down the ground, but she went leg side. Just the wrong way to play that delivery, and after surviving that chance on 16 she hasn't done that much more damagae.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15 overs

    Scholfield b A Maguire 21 (Eng 112-5)

Another! Orla Prendergast breathes a sigh of relief after dropping Paige Scholfield in the previous over.

Scholfield also goes for an aggressive swipe, but is beaten by the flight as Aimee Maguire picks up her second.

    A huge over for Ireland!

Talk about an impact bowling change, that's what you want as a captain, particularly in a reduced overs match when you have to juggle them so carefully. Kemp going for the old heave-ho.

    Big wicket!

Aimee Maguire gets a wicket first ball with her spin, firing one in to Freya Kemp who tries to launch it out of the park. It skids under her bat and Amy Hunter completes a good stumping, and Ireland will be delighted to see the back of Kemp after her destructive knock on Monday.

  14. dropped catch

Scholfield dropped on 16published at 14 overs

    Eng 107-3

    Shocker!

Paige Scholfield keeps going after the spinner and picks out Orla Prendergast at deep mid-wicket. She is Ireland's finest player in all aspects so would be backing herself to take this, but puts it down and Scholfield runs an extra two.

Frustration for Ireland and for the bowler, Freya Sargent.

  15. Eng 100-3published at 13 overs

Freya Kemp smacked 65 from just 47 balls in Monday's full-length ODI, so goodness knows what she's capable of in a shorter game. Plenty for Ireland to think about here as they need to get rid of her quickly to limit the damage.

She gets off the mark with a single first ball.

That's a really important wicket, given how she can accelerate. She just struggled with the cutters Maguire was bowling, as soon as she hit it she knew she was in trouble.

    Fifty and out!

Tammy Beaumont holes out to deep mid-wicket where Leah Paul takes a smart catch, falling for an entertaining 52 from 42 balls.

She's given England a brilliant platform.

Tammy's just made it so difficult to bowl to her. She's never let a bowler settle.

  19. 50 runs

50 for Tammy Beaumontpublished at 12.2 overs

    Eng 97-2

Another classy innings from the England opener.

Beaumont follows Monday's 150 with a half-century here from just 39 balls, reaching it with a funky paddle over her shoulder for four.

It's the fastest 50 of her one-day international career.

  20. 6 runs

    Eng 93-2published at 12 overs

    First of the day!

Paige Scholfield launches the spinner down the ground for six. England are ready to accelerate, taking 14 from the over.

    10 overs to go.
