A sensational catch from Ailsa Lister. She had to sprint to make up the ground but she timed the dive perfectly.

Sometimes you can hit the heel of your hand in the dive but Lister did well to slow up at the right moment.

    Gardner c Lister b Schutt 10 (Rockets 92-3)

Great catch! It's something to cheer for the Birmingham Phoenix. Ailsa Lister comes flying in off the deep mid-wicket boundary to hold onto a leading edge from Ash Gardner.

She knows it was good too, judging by the big celebration.

  3. Rockets 92-2published at 41 balls left

This is finishing quickly. One off the middle, another off the edge from Ash Gardner.

Bowler Megan Schutt looks as frustrated as someone who has just missed their bus as she buries her head in her hand.

At this point in the game, Trent Rockets are in the ascendency. As a batter, you don't want to go too brash and risky but also you don't want it to go to the last ball.

You have to stay proactive but be there at the end.

  5. Rockets 84-2published at 45 balls left

    Need 40 runs left

If you were someone who said on the radio yesterday that Nat Sciver-Brunt wasn't the best all-rounder in the world you might be feeling a little silly right now as she hits another perfect boundary.

    I'm speaking from experience there.

That is a sumptuous shot. We have seen invention, touch and classical drives from the England captain Nat Scvier-Brunt in her boundaries.

  7. Rockets 77-2published at 50 balls left

47 runs needed from 50 balls

What Carlos says is true but right now Nat Sciver-Brunt is taking apart Perry, never mind one of the uncapped local bowlers. That ramp is followed by a deft cut and a powerful drive as the England captain adds two more fours.

The required rate is below a run per ball now. It should be straightforward from here.

You can see the difference in intensity between the international and local players. We always see young players with great skills but you need that intent to accompany it.

Ellyse Perry, Ash Gardner and Nat Sciver-Brunt all have it; there is a difference in class.

  9. Rockets 68-2published at 54 balls left

Nat Sciver-Brunt ramps the next ball, bowled by Ellyse Perry, for four too.

  10. Rockets 64-2published at 55 balls left

Need 60 runs from 55 balls

Thrashed for four by Nat Sciver-Brunt. That was too short from spinner Phoebe Brett.

Rockets' most experienced batting duo are in with Ash Gardner at the other end.

For Grace Scrivens, she was just looking to have a bit of fun but didn't really follow through her shot properly.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 58 balls left

    Scrivens c Arlott b Brett 16 (Rockets 59-2)

And now Grace Scrivens is out! She has tried to take on the long-on boundary but only manages to pick out Em Arlott lurking in the shadows.

  13. Rockets 58-1published at 60 balls left

    Need 66 from 60 balls

Say you could only retain three players for next season and you are the Trent Rockets, who are you holding on to?

Nat Sciver-Brunt is a certainty. Ash Gardner too. It's probably Alana King after that as well. That makes this a big innings for Scrivens.

Nat Sciver-Brunt has now hit 19 sixes in the Women's Hundred, just one behind leading six hitter Deandra Dottin's 20.

Rockets 54-1published at 65 balls left

    Target 124

Down the ground for six from Nat Sciver-Brunt! That's a lovely shot from the England captain.

  16. Rockets 45-1published at 70 balls left

    Need 79 from 70 balls

It feels like this is only going one way at the moment. Rockets are well in control, helped by two more wides from Phoebe Brett.

Phoebe Brett bowls wide of the wicket which I like and as a left handed batter, it comes into you. She gets a lot of turn.

There is no greater test of your bowling than bowling to the England captain.

  18. Rockets 36-1published at 75 balls left

    Target 124

Phoenix skipper Ellyse Perry, who has had a pretty quiet tournament, puffs her cheeks and takes a big deep breath as she comes on to bowl. It brings some sense of calm in fairness.

Em Arlott has taken at least one wicket in 21 consecutive T20 matches, with her last wicketless match coming in this fixture in Nottingham last season.

  20. Rockets 34-1published at 80 balls left

    Target 124

Georgia Voll drops a catch off her own bowling now as Grace Scrivens, on 10, whacks one back. It was tough in fairness but it's not a good look after what had come before.
