It didn't feel out to me. It's hit him on the hip and that is an awful shout from the bowler.

  6. Can 44-3published at 7.5 overs

There's a huge appeal from Shaheen Shah Afridi as he squares up Aaron Johnson. Babar Azam ignores his pleas for a review - and with good reason. It hit him on the thigh, never out in a million years.

An excellent bit of fielding that's a massive loss for Canada.

Kirton run out 1 (Can 43-3)

    Disaster for Canada!

Aaron Johnson pushes the ball into the off-side, thinks about the run, but says no. The problem is Nicholas Kirton had come hurtling down and was stranded in the middle of the wicket when Imad Wasim collected in the covers and hurled in a brilliant direct hit.

That is a hefty score at this stage for Canada and they have some bonus runs already.

That is an amazing shot. Not many people can play that shot, you need a lot of power.

Stand and deliver from Aaron Johnson!

With very little back lift Johnson has powered a cut shot from new bowler Haris Rauf over extra cover for six.

Rauf responds with a bouncer, but it flies over the wicketkeeper's head for five wides.

This game continues to swing one way to the other.

Nicholas Kirton seems very switched on and he knows his game inside out.

  13. Can 30-2published at 6 overs

Only a wide prevents Shaheen Shah Afridi from a wicket maiden, including a couple of deliveries that flash past the outside edge of new batter Nicholas Kirton.

Pakistan have dragged this back after an inauspicious start.

    Pargat c Fakhar b Afridi 2 (Can 29-2)

    And that's why!

Shaheen Shah Afridi bangs one into the pitch and it rises on Pargat Singh, who can only fend the ball to first slip for a routine catch.

The ball is not bouncing a lot and it definitely looks tricky for the batsman from this end.

  18. Can 29-1published at 5 overs

Mohammad Amir looks pumped as he gives Pargat Singh a bit of a going over, looing for the delivery that brought him Dhaliwal's wicket the previous over. He even throws in a bouncer for good measure.

There's a huge cheer as Shaheen Shah Afridi prepares to return to the attack.

Aaron Johnson does try to roll his wrist a little bit which often gets him in trouble.

  20. Can 28-1published at 4 overs

Aaron Johnson is making his intent clear. He clubs the first ball of Naseem Shah's next over over point, but then gets away with a couple of thick edges that land safely.

New batter Pargat Singh helps himself to a single to get off the mark.
