It is said that when the going gets tough, the tough get going.

There has been no team tougher than Surrey over the past two seasons and they could take a major step towards a hat-trick of titles if they can run through Durham's batting line-up today.

Main rivals Somerset still have three Lancashire wickets to take and will then have the task of chasing something over 300 for victory.

In the promotion race, Sussex, Yorkshire and Middlesex are all on top in their games, so that one could continue into next week.

Welcome to our coverage of day three. Play starts at 10:30.
