There's really no scoreboard pressure in the game for England, Heather Knight and Nat Sciver-Brunt are batting beautifully. Interesting that we've only seen five overs of spin here though.

Joshua Worrall: Emma Raducanu has made it one British success in Melbourne this morning… are we on for a second? Temperament, patience and sensibility required to get the job done. Australia will put up a huge fight to try and turn this around!

  10. Eng 62-2published at 14 overs

Nat Sciver-Brunt and Heather Knight content to milk Ash Gardner into the gaps. Tip and run largely, although the former does bring out the sweep shot off the penultimate ball of the over but it's controlled and all along the carpet.

  12. Eng 58-2published at 13 overs

  14. Eng 56-2published at 12 overs

Off-spinner Ash Gardner, who had both Heather Knight and Nat Sciver-Brunt out sweeping in the first ODI, is into the attack.

She's a little bit hurried to get through her over and Sciver-Brunt clinically square-drives Gardner's third ball for four. Nicely played.

That was a wonderful strike, straight through the line of the ball, no cover and no one there. Excellent shot. Where is the spin? We saw what happened in the previous innings.

  16. Eng 50-2published at 11 overs

Nat Sciver-Brunt with a deft on-drive to Darcie Brown's fourth delivery which nutmegs Heather Knight at the non-striker's end and races away for four.

Alana King could be really tricky to face. She gets bounce and a little bit more revs. If Australia read this pitch well with their bowlers it's going to be tough. England do not need big boundaries, though. On paper you would expect them to do this most days of the week.

  18. Aus 43-2published at 10 overs

    Target 181

Alyssa Healy has resisted the temptation to call upon her spinners so far. Darcie Brown into the attack for Australia.
