There's a little bit of humidity, a bit of swing and maybe a bit of spin. England didn't bat well on Sunday, they need to bounce back today. If they can dismiss Australia for under 250, I think they could get back into the series but it'll be a tough ask.

  3. 'Need to be more ruthless'published at 22:56 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January

Australia skipper Alyssa Healy: "We know it's going to do a bit early on but I think we are prepared for that. Hopefully we can get ourselves set then cash in later on.

"We need to be a bit more ruthless and a bit more clinical. Batting first today it's on the top four or five to go out there and make a big score, and put a big total on the board to defend with the ball.

"Our first outing was pretty good but we need to be a bit sharper."

  4. The Teamspublished at 22:55 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January

Both sides are unchanged from the opening match which means still no Kate Cross for England.

Australia: Alyssa Healy (captain & wicketkeeper), Phoebe Litchfield, Ellyse Perry, Beth Mooney, Annabel Sutherland, Ash Gardner, Tahlia McGrath, Alana King, Kim Garth, Megan Schutt, Darcie Brown.

England: Tammy Beaumont, Maia Bouchier, Heather Knight (captain), Nat Sciver-Brunt, Danni Wyatt-Hodge, Amy Jones (wicketkeeper), Alice Capsey, Charlie Dean, Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Filer, Lauren Bell.

  5. 'Little bit of moisture'published at 22:52 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January

England captain Heather Knight: "Slightly earlier start today and there's a little bit of moisture in the surface but I think it will be a pretty good wicket. Generally we like to chase here and we're looking forward to getting out there as a side and restricting them to a total.

"I think we did some really good stuff the other day. I think we played some really good cricket but with the bat just didn't have those one or two players who went on and got a really big score, that changed the state of the game. Hopefully the batting group can do that today then see how it goes with our bowlers."

  6. England won toss and bowlpublished at 22:47 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January

The toss took place a few moments ago.

Albeit at the second attempt, after Australia captain Alyssa Healy decided to catch her initial flick of the coin.

England skipper Heather Knight called heads, it came down in her favour, and she decided to bowl first.
