    Time to get going again.

Chris Woakes will resume his over with three balls remaining, bowling to new batter Jasprit Bumrah.

Jofra Archer bowled a brilliant spell. It was a tactical masterstroke as I think I would have started with Brydon Carse after seeing him bowl last night.

Let's take a look at those wickets then.

England removed three India batters early on, but Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Kumar Reddy ground out a partnership of 30 before the latter was dismissed by Chris Woakes.

India have not found any rhythm.

It is not easy the pitch, it is tricky to bat on, but it has been the pressure and India have not been able to cope with it.

Ben Stokes just knows when to win big moments. The rest of the team just follows.

    Thanks, Ffion.

Well, that was a rollercoaster, wasn't it?

After England took those early wickets I thought I might not even get on for my afternoon stint, then I was getting a bit worried about the Jadeja-Reddy partnership.

Fortunately my popping to the canteen to pick up lunch did the trick - wicket secured, no need to thank me.

    What a morning!

Moments of magic from Archer, a heroic spell from Stokes, more tension, more send-offs - we've had it all.

To take you through the afternoon and most likely the final session of this Test, here's Mike Peter.

That partnership was just beginning to frustrate England, with Reddy and Ravindra Jadeja looking stubborn in defence.

Archer, Stokes and co can now put their feet up for 40 minutes before unleashing after the break in pursuit of two wickets for what would be an incredible win.

    Brilliant from Chris Woakes.

Nitish Kumar Reddy has played some immaculate forward defence, and the extra bit of bounce does him.

What a morning for England. The way they have bowled - they have been relentless.

A bit of wizardry on the stroke of lunch!

Nitish Kumar Reddy's resistance comes to an end as he can't resist poking at a good-length delivery from Chris Woakes, nicking behind to Jamie Smith for 13.

That session could not have gone any better for Stokes and England.

Lunch is going to come at a good time for England. There's a little bit of something happening with this partnership.

    How's your luck?!

Nitish Kumar Reddy edges past his stumps, just millimetres away.

Brydon Carse can't believe it, but it's got the crowd behind him. He is clapped through his run up like a long jumper going for gold, but it might've ramped him up a little too much as he oversteps for a no-ball.

Jadeja is solidly behind the extra ball.

If England are thinking about spin then they need to bowl it now when there's still an amount of runs to get.

A maiden from Chris Woakes, but a pretty unthreatening one.

You always have a few doubts when you're in the field. There is no way England will feel this is done and dusted.

I wonder with this change Ravindra Jadeja thinks this is the moment they can target Chris Woakes for a couple of overs.

Ben Stokes is done. For now.

  17. Ind 108-7published at 37 overs

    Steady, steady.

Jadeja is so rapid between the wickets that he seems to forget that not everybody else can keep up with him.

He sets off for two after dabbing the ball to deep point but eventually has the sense to send Nitish Kumar Reddy back.

No mid-pitch collisions to report from that Brydon Carse over. Shame.

We have had some drama. This is tremendous Test match cricket. Brydon Carse will now be bowling to Jadeja.

I'm sure he will fancy taking Jadeja's wicket. I look forward to the celebration if he does do.

    Finally!

Nitish Kumar Reddy finds the boundary - the first in 80 balls - with a well-timed drive past Ollie Pope at cover.

Stokes looks to the sky in anguish.

Ravindra Jadeja went to run and Brydon Carse was in his way. There was a little bit of a barge.

Carse is saying, 'You have got to run around me'.

Carse in his follow through was looking at the ball and Jadeja was looking at the ball - then they just collide.
