    Target 193

    Hello! Tempers are still flaring!

Ravindra Jadeja drives sweetly, and runs back for a couple.

And while Carse is watching the fielder, Jadeja sets off straight down the pitch. The pair collide, which results in another feisty exchange.

Ben Stokes comes in between them, pushing Carse away to diffuse the situation.

I think I read it correctly that Ben Stokes said something like 'I ain't moving'.

Which obviously means Stokes is going to have another one. I think the balcony will be looking down thinking 'Ben, enough is enough'.

I am waiting for that counterpunch from this pair. When is it going to come? England are bowling with great discipline. Eventually India will have to try play a shot or two.

  3. Ind 101-7published at 34 overs

    Target 193

    Oooh!

Nitish Kumar Reddy almost ends up on his backside as he is caught off guard by a fierce bouncer from Stokes.

A maiden is concluded with some more chat between batter and bowler.

Half an hour to go until lunch, and it's still lively - don't go anywhere.

  5. Ind 101-7published at 33 overs

    Target 193

Jofra Archer is doing it all.

Nitish Kumar Reddy finally gets one out of the middle of the bat with a lovely drive off Brydon Carse, but Archer leaps from point, one-handed, to save an almost certain boundary.

Jofra Archer's spell is the quickest by an England bowler on day five anywhere in the world in the last 10 years.

I think Ben Stokes must be liking the fact he can still bowl. As a captain the players will be looking at you to see how you're handling the situation.

We can hear the Indian fans still believe. This is when we need the MCC members to fight back - get their chants going!

  8. Ind 100-7published at 32 overs

    Target 193

The roar around Lord's for India's 100 isn't far off what you'd expect for the winning runs.

Just the single to Reddy off another testing Stokes over. How many more?

Ben Stokes is going to continue his spell.

And good luck to anyone trying to stop him, at this rate.

Brydon Carse has got a big responsibility to hit the ground running.

Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer have been brilliant for the first hour. India have stopped the momentum and it is even-stevens now.

Ravindra Jadeja is the key. Whilst he is still in, the India dressing room will still believe.

  11. Ind 99-7published at 31 overs

    Target 193

What a luxury for Ben Stokes, who whips Jofra Archer out of the attack and turns to Brydon Carse - the man who burst the game open last night.

A fiery short ball pins Jadeja on the glove, but it doesn't carry to Joe Root at slip.

Ben Stokes gives a wry smile.

  12. Ind 97-7published at 30 overs

    Target 193

England's fielders continue to chirp at Nitish Kumar Reddy, who has been solid in defence so far.

Just two from Stokes' over as the partnership digs in, but shows little sign of a counter-attack yet.

Three England fielders run off at the end of the over for a toilet break. Anyone else need a visit for the nerves?

Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul and Washington Sundar have all come and gone this morning.

An absolute spectacle of fast bowling from Stokes and Archer.

    And breathe!

What an hour. India have lost three wickets for 37 runs, and are still 98 runs adrift. That seems a long, long way away right now.

    England have bowled really well.

This is the time for Nitish Kumar Reddy can show he can bat well. He is considered in the team as an all-rounder.

It is a great opportunity for him to showcase that he's a great talent. This is the perfect platform for him.

England seamers are attacking the stumps this innings, with 23% of their deliveries going on to hit the stumps. This is the second highest percentage of any fourth innings bowling from the pace attack under Ben Stokes.

  19. Ind 94-7published at 28 overs

    Target 193

    India's target dips below 100.

Slow and steady from Jadeja and Reddy for now, as they look to nullify Stokes and Archer's momentum.

One more before drinks, and it'll be Archer...
