Sean Hunt, the nightwatchman, has taken a liking to the all-spin attack, hitting three sixes in reaching his half-century.

  13. Postpublished at 11:58 25 June

    Notts 360 v Somerset 320-6

No messing about from Craig Overton. He's off the mark first ball.

Shot of the day so far.

Acting Somerset captain Craig Overton is in next.

  16. Postpublished at 11:53 25 June

    Warwks 254 v Hants 298 & 121-2

Maiden from Chris Woakes, who has looked the most threatening of the Bears bowlers thus far today.

Nick Gubbins is nearly undone by an Ed Barnard ball that keeps low, and cuts straight through him off the seam, taking the left-hander off balance. Hmm. Play that.

That's a fine cut shot off the next ball though, smacked on bended knee through cover point for four.

Another cut to Briggs at point brings one more run.

  17. New ballpublished at 11:53 25 June

    Essex 286-5 v Durham 587

    Yorks 456 v Gloucs 197

Conor McKerr will be on a hat-trick - of sorts - in Gloucestershire's second innings after wrapping up their first with two wickets in two balls.

Dom Goodman plays all around a straight one and is lbw, then Ajeet Singh Dale tries to slog and skies the ball to substitute fielder Dan Moriarty.

Yorkshire lead by 259 - will they enforce the follow-on?

    Notts 360 v Somerset 315-5

    Grace Ballinger
The Blaze bowler on BBC Radio Nottingham

To be honest Tom Abell has not been able to find the form that he had yesterday.

That's a big wicket for Nottinghamshire.

  20. WICKET Abell LBW b Harrison 111published at 11:49 25 June

    Notts 360 v Somerset 315-5

    Breakthrough.

Sadly for Somerset, Tom Abell has not been able to get going after a fine century on Day Two.

He's been foxed by a Calvin Harrison googly, playing around it with a forward block and struck on the knee roll in front of off stump.

    Kasey Aldridge to bat next.
