  1. Lunch at Edgbastonpublished at 13:07 25 June

    Warwks 254 v Hants 298 & 196-5

James Vince keeps the pressure on the Bears with a neat back foot drive through mid off for four runs off the bowling of Oliver Hannon-Dalby.

This has been a fascinating session of play with three wickets falling in the session and some bold counter attack from Vince in particular.

He hit a six off only his second ball and has 39 not out from 37 balls.

Liam Dawson is unbeaten on six after coming to the crease a couple of overs ago after the dismissal of Ben Brown, LBW to an Oliver Hannon-Dalby slower ball for seven.

    The lead is 240.

  2. Lunch at Canterburypublished at 13:06 25 June

    Kent 244 v Lancashire 499-6

Josh Bohannon only added 23 to his overnight 182, but he and Matty Hurst, with 50, have continued Lancashire's quiet accumulation.

With a 255-run lead, it may be time to put the foot on the accelerator after lunch and stretch it to over 300.

Two wickets for Matt Parkinson this morning will probably interest Nathan Lyon for when he gets to bowl again.

  3. Lunch at Lord'spublished at 13:06 25 June

    Middlesex 433 & 59-1 v Derbyshire 339

    Sam RobsonImage source, Rex Features

Middlesex opener Sam Robson is not renowned for aggressive strokeplay but he goes into lunch on 53 not out after reaching his half-century from only 34 balls.

They lead by 159 after picking up Derbyshire's last six wickets for 31 runs this morning, including Luis Reece for 125, as Toby Roland-Jones returned figures of 5-81.

  4. Lunch at New Roadpublished at 13:05 25 June

    Worcestershire 212 & 11-0 v Surrey 490

Jake Libby collects two fours off James Taylor and Worcestershire's survive a two-over mini-session intact.

Libby was ninth to go earlier on, caught behind off Gus Atkinson for 77, as the Pears were finally bowled out for 212, 278 behind.

Lunch will provide timely respite for the Surrey attack and they will be looking for wickets when the game resumes in the hope of earning a day off tomorrow.

  5. Lunch at Chelmsfordpublished at 13:04 25 June

    Essex 335-9 v Durham 587

What a moment for Durham as Peter Siddle has Simon Harmer given out for an under-edge through to the wicketkeeper.

Harmer does not look convinced, but the decision is out, it's a third wicket for Siddle and it completes a glorious session for the visitors.

They have taken five wickets for 86 runs and lead by 252.

The chat over lunch will surely be whether they want to declare and send Essex back in at some stage.

  6. Lunch at Trent Bridgepublished at 13:03 25 June

    Notts 360 v Somerset 424-8

Jack Leach ducks under an Olly Stone bouncer.

Stone nearly breaks through with the fourth ball, which is played and miss moving in off the seam.

He is able to leave the last ball and that's lunch.

A very satisfying morning for Somerset after slipping to 321-7.

Brutal hitting from Craig Overton (20), Migael Pretorius (55 not out) and Jack Leach (32 not out) have taken the momentum away from Notts since then.

  7. 'Burns often uses Lawrence as a surprise weapon'published at 13:01 25 June

    Worcs 212 & 0-0 v Surrey 490

    Dan Whiting
    BBC Radio London

It's not the first time Dan Lawrence has opened the bowling this year.

Rory Burns often uses him as a surprise weapon.

Jake Libby will be concentrating hard. He doesn't want to be out twice in one session.

  8. WICKET Brown LBW b Hannon-Dalby 7published at 12:58 25 June

    Warwks 254 v Hants 298 & 184-5

Warwickshire break through just as the runs were flowing.

One ball after driving Oliver Hannon-Dalby through mid off for four, Ben Brown has been undone by a slower ball.

He plays around it and is pinned in front of middle.

Liam Dawson makes his way to the middle.

  9. Worcestershire follow onpublished at 12:55 25 June

    Worcs 212 & 0-0 v Surrey 490

Rory Burns backs the stamina of his bowlers - Worcestershire will have to bat again.

They trail by 278 and it will take some very determined batting indeed to see this one to a fourth day, having lost to Surrey by 281 runs at The Oval earlier in the season.

  10. Postpublished at 12:54 25 June

    Notts 360 v Somerset 420-8

Olly Stone bowls round the wicket and into the body of Jack Leach, who defends.

The third ball however is full, leg side and helped round the corner for four.

  11. Glamorgan all outpublished at 12:54 25 June

    Glamorgan 490 v Northants 279

Andy Gorvin tries to deposit spinner Alex Russell into the seats at mid-wicket but doesn't get quite enough on it and Ricardo Vasconcelos takes a good catch.

Glamorgan's first innings comes to an end, with Mason Crane 56 not out, and they lead by 211.

Skipper Luke Procter is the pick of the Northants attack with 3-51.

  12. Vince punishes Briggspublished at 12:52 25 June

    Warwks 254 v Hants 298 & 178-4

The Hampshire captain is again down the track to the Bears spinner, lofting over long on for another six.

    10 runs off that over.

    Warwickshire need another wicket.

  13. 'Organ did the the most important job last night'published at 12:51 25 June

    Warwks 254 v Hants 298 & 168-4

    Clive Eakin
    BBC CWR Sport

A very good catch by Che Simmons.

Felix Organ getting a bit anxious there maybe about wanting to push the score on and he's induced into an error.

A good effort though from Organ, he did the the most important job last night and has carried on today to reach 31 more valuable run for his team.

  14. WICKET Hurst st Finch b Parkinson 50published at 12:51 25 June

    Kent 244 v Lancashire 493-6

What were we saying about Matty Hurst?

The compliments must have gone to his head as he charges Matt Parkinson and is stumped by miles!

  15. 50 for Migael Pretoriuspublished at 12:49 25 June

    Notts 360 v Somerset 412-8

Brutal. 32 balls, four fours and four sixes.

He's turned the game completely on its head since the quiet first hour of play.

His last scoring shot comes from a thick inside edge off a miscued off drive into the on side.

Frustrating for Olly Stone or indeed any bowler.

  16. WICKET Snater c sub (Coughlin) b Siddle 11published at 12:48 25 June

    Essex 328-8 v Durham 587

Shane Snater isn't known for his defence and he can't resist when he is offered a bit of width by Peter Siddle.

The end result is a simple catch to cover and a second wicket for the veteran Siddle.

Essex trail by 259 with only two first-innings wickets left.

  17. WICKET Organ c sub (Simmons) b Hannon-Dalby 31published at 12:47 25 June

    Warwks 254 v Hants 298 & 168-4

Good over from Oliver Hannon-Dalby, who gets a bit of shape into Felix Organ, who defends into the off side.

Out! That came out of nowhere.

A bit more width on the fifth ball and Felix Organ has lofted that off the back foot to Che Simmons at cover.

Ben Brown is in at six for Hampshire.

  18. WICKET Bashir c Worrall b Taylor 8published at 12:46 25 June

    Worcs 212 v Surrey 490

You could call that a pull shot, but Shoaib Bashir, in reality, just helps it round the corner and Dan Worrall takes the catch at square leg.

The final Worcestershire wicket goes to James Taylor and they trail the Division One leaders by 278.

To enforce the follow-on or not to enforce the follow-on, that is the question.

  19. 50 for Matty Hurstpublished at 12:45 25 June

    Kent 244 v Lancashire 491-5

He played second fiddle to Josh Bohannon, but Matty Hurst now reaches his half-century.

It has taken 129 balls, but this young wicketkeeper-batter is proving his worth for Lancashire.

This is Hurst's third 50 of the summer to go with a maiden hundred away to Nottinghamshire.

  20. WICKET Hunt c Hull b Currie 65published at 12:43 25 June

    Sussex 442 & 174-4 v Leics 275

What a job Sussex nightwatcher Sean Hunt has done - but now his enterprising innings is over.

He tries to pull a short ball from Scott Currie but the balls flies off the leading edge and Josh Hull takes the catch at mid-off.

Sussex lead by 341 as James Coles replaces Hunt and you'd assume they will be hoping to set a target well in excess of 400.
