    Tahuhu c Joseph b Alleyne 6 (NZ 127-8)

A high catch is finally taken - just!

Lea Tahuhu slogs one high into the air and Qiana Joseph settles herself at cover to take the simple chance, but the ball pops out and she manages to snaffle it at the second attempt.

She laughs nervously in response but after that four first ball, Aaliyah Alleyne has responded brilliantly.

    Good response from Alleyne.

Just a single from the next two balls.

Suddenly, New Zealand are putting on a total that is a little bit more worrying for West Indies.

  4. NZ 126-7published at 19.1 overs

A good start to the final over from Izzy Gaze, again shuffling across her stumps and scooping Aaliyah Alleyne for four.

  5. NZ 122-7published at 19 overs

There will be no five-wicket haul for Deandra Dottin but she finishes with a brilliant 4-22.

A slight blemish is this dreadful overthrow that she's given away, with Qiana Joseph throwing the ball casually back to her and Dottin somehow lets it burst through her fingers for the batters to scamper the extra run.

Having two fresh batters in the middle now is criminal, especially with Deandra Dottin in play. You know what New Zealand can deliver as a group, but they just don't deliver in pressure situations like this.

  7. NZ 113-7published at 18 overs

Lea Tahuhu ends the over with a lovely drive through the covers for two as New Zealand try to scramble as many runs as they can.

Deandra Dottin will bowl the 19th over with figures of 4-13 to her name so far.

  8. NZ 108-7published at 17.1 overs

Four precious runs for New Zealand as Izzy Gaze manages to pull off a ramp past the stumps.

  9. NZ 104-7published at 17 overs

It's been such a frustrating innings from New Zealand. They will be gutted with the softness of some of their dismissals.

    Mair lbw b Dottin 2 (NZ 104-7)

Mair dismissed lbw for two after being undone by Dottin's slow ball

    What a review!

Hitting leg stump and Deandra Dottin has four wickets! What a spell from the all-rounder.

    Another?!

Deandra Dottin is convinced of an lbw and manages to convince Hayley Matthews into another review.

    Is there any bat?

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 16.1 overs

    Green c Campbelle b Dottin 3 (NZ 102-6)

    And she strikes again!

A slower ball sticks in the pitch and Maddy Green gets a leading edge straight up in to the air. At first, it looks like Dottin is going to try and pouch the catch as well but in the end she wisely leaves it for the keeper.

New Zealand slump into even more trouble.

These are a crucial few overs now. New Zealand will still be hoping to get at least 130 if not 140. For me, Deandra Dottin has to bowl these last overs, she has been the best bowler in this West Indies side today.

  14. NZ 102-5published at 16 overs

Four singles and the wicket from Afy Fletcher's testing over.

New Zealand need a big finish but Deandra Dottin still has two of these overs to bowl...

What a tame way to get out! New Zealand could be throwing away a golden opportunity here. It's a very similar dismissal to Amy Jones' the other night.

    Devine c Ramharack b Fletcher 12 (NZ 98-5)

'What a tame dismissal!' - Devine caught for 12 by Ramharack

    A hammer blow.

Sophie Devine can't believe it as she chips the first ball of Afy Fletcher's over to the fielder at point, as simple as you like.

It's another soft dismissal and a costly one for New Zealand. They do not possess much power in their lower order.

  17. NZ 98-4published at 15 overs

2-11 from two overs for Deandra Dottin so far.

She's an amazing cricketer, isn't she? Hasn't played international cricket for some time, rarely bowls, and then delivers a spell like this (and a crucial one against England, too).

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.5 overs

    Halliday b Dottin 18 (NZ 96-4)

    And gone next ball!

A horrible few minutes for Brooke Halliday, who is smacked on the ankle and then bowled by a perfect Deandra Dottin yorker.

Not much she could've done with that, right on the toes, but she goes for 18 from nine balls which has just kickstarted New Zealand's innings somewhat.

That ball is causing some damage today.

Brooke Halliday is struck bang on the ankle as she scampers in for a second run and falls in a heap with the pain. Another nasty one, right on the bone, but she's OK to continue after a bit of treatment.

Right, runs are coming here. Sophie Devine is piercing the gaps in the field beautifully. It's amazing what the loss of a wicket can do.
