What's Dani Gibson had for lunch?!

She smokes her fifth boundary, guiding Freya Davies past point, and moves to 21 from just six balls!

Welsh Fire call for their strategic timeout at a crucial time, because the runs are flowing quickly.

I think we are going to be in this final the whole way through, if we just keep bowling and fielding the way we have been. It's going to be a big fight for the remaining balls.

Tammy Beaumont has been really good as captain this tournament. We have had loads of close games and they have been much more lower scoring, so our bowling changes have been key and she has done really well.

Yep, the wicket of Heather Knight isn't really bothering the Spirit too much.

Dani Gibson whacks back-to-back fours through the covers off Hayley Matthews. The all-rounder has come in and completely taken the pressure off Georgia Redmayne with her aggression.

She has 17 from five balls already.

A fabulous shot from Danielle Gibson. This time Shabnim Ismail bowled a little bit straight, dropping it into the wicket a bit shorter, but Gibson looks ready for this final.

She is ready for this run chase and she bludgeons it towards the leg side. Two fantastic shots from her.

Heck of a response from Dani Gibson, just using the pace to smoke back-to-back boundaries.

She guides one past point, and clubs the next short ball through mid-wicket. Shabnim Ismail throws away the pressure that she'd just done so well to build.

At the first time of asking, Ismail strikes! It is a beauty, It goes straight through Heather Knight, who had been controlling the game.

    And that's why!

Again it's full, fast and straight and it's straight through Heather Knight's defences.

There's the Ismail roar again, and Welsh Fire are right back in it.

    Game on!

I'm absolutely a nervous watcher. I've just been keeping myself busy. I prefer being out there but, so far, the girls are in control.

Heather Knight just has that calmness in a run chase, whatever form she is in. I have full faith in her here.

  11. Spirit 56-2published at 45 balls left

Think it's time for the quicks to come back on against Heather Knight, as she continues to easily manipulate the spinners and score pretty freely.

She looks in total control. Fire need her wicket, and quickly.

And that's why those missed chances could prove to be so costly.

Heather Knight drives over extra cover for four more.

She has 20 from 14 balls and at the halfway stage, she holds the key. 66 runs from 50 balls is the equation for London Spirit.

They are the toughest catches when they go straight over your head. You almost have to just turn and put the burners on. Hayley Matthews almost got herself into a mix. You have to just turn and burn and then track the ball above you.

  15. Spirit 43-2published at 55 balls left

Oh! Two chances for Heather Knight.

She completely miscues a short ball and it plops up in front of her, but wicketkeeper Sarah Bryce can't get there quickly enough.

And next ball, Knight goes down the ground but Hayley Matthews slips over as she chases backwards from mid-off. How costly could that be?

The luck is on Knight's side so far.

  16. Spirit 38-2published at 60 balls left

    Target 116

Knight sweeps for four, bang off middle stump.

She makes it look effortlessly easy, and it's so frustrating for the bowlers to concede runs off a decent ball.

Ominous signs for Welsh Fire as Knight is very quickly into her groove.

Heather Knight immediately goes to the reverse sweeps and paddles, attempting to throw Jess Jonassen off her rhythm.

Jonassen is equal to it, though - she's only conceded seven runs from her 10 balls so far.

And here's how Welsh Fire took the first wicket. Shabnim Ismail's expression says it all!

This London Spirit side are the masters of the chase in this year's tournament.

I don't think they will be panicking just yet...

    This is the partnership.

Heather Knight joins Georgia Redmayne in the middle - the duo that chased 113 so calmly yesterday.

Lovely bit of bowling from Georgia Davis! Cordelia Griffith struggled today. She is a power-hitter but Davis got her just slightly outside the off-stump and she gets a little feather through to Sarah Bryce who has been fantastic behind the stumps.

If you're a Welsh Fire player here, you are happy with how things are going but you know the England captain is coming to the crease...
