There is a bit of movement out there when the ball's in the right areas.

Tidy from Danielle Gibson, who gives up just four singles from her opening set.

We saw it from Tara Norris, but Gibson's set has just backed up the fact that there is a bit of swing out there for the bowlers, which well keep them interested.

Norris is back in for a second set.

  3. Fire 11-0published at 5 balls

An expensive start with the ball for Tara Norris, unsurprisingly, leads to a change of bowling from Heather Knight.

Next in is Danielle Gibson, who had a mixed day for the Spirit during their win in the Eliminator over Oval Invincibles.

  4. Fire 11-0published at 3 balls

Five more runs and no more balls on the total. Norris' ball is wide and misses everything, even wicketkeeper Georgia Redmayne and runs behind for five wides.

  5. Fire 6-0published at 3 balls

Tammy Beaumont finds the first boundary of the day at Lord's.

A little tickle fine down the leg side squirms away for four, a clever shot.

  6. Fire 1-0published at 2 balls

Tara Norris is causing problems with the ball swinging early on.

Sophia Dunkley gets off the mark, but it is a bit of a streaky shot.

What I've loved about this tournament is how close it's been all the way to the Eliminator.

Not very often do you get to the nitty gritty, the back end of tournaments and every team is still in it, and I love the fact one new team is going to be on that trophy.

We've got fireworks and all sorts going off at Lord's and we're just minutes away from the final getting started.

Both teams have made their way out on to the outfield and the atmosphere is certainly building in the capital.

Welsh Fire are in their first ever women's final and got here after finishing top of the group.

In their eight group matches, Fire won five, lost two and the other ended in a no-result.

Despite winning the group stage, none of Welsh Fire's batters are in the top 14 run-scorers in the women's competition this season. Hayley Matthews (15th) is their highest, having recorded 176 runs.

With the ball, they do have two of the competition's leading wicket-takers. Jess Jonassen (12) and Matthews (11) are second and third respectively.
