We have already had a belter in the women's final. These are the games that we want.

I'm not against a Super Five in this one - and I promise I won't go home early tonight! I'm such a company woman that I did listen to it on the radio last night.

    Target 148

Much-needed boundary from Leus du Plooy, breaking the shackles with a reverse-pull type shot for four.

He and Laurie Evans are just biding their time at the moment though, waiting for the right time to launch.

That third wicket has swung things in favour of Invincibles, according to WinViz...

The game is still in the balance. I think we have still got a bit of work to do. Hopefully the boys can bring this one home.

Adam Zampa is a world-class bowler and he has been one of the main wicket-takers for them, so hopefully we can negate the spin and try to keep him out of the other wickets.

Are we in for another close encounter?

73 needed from the last 40 balls...

James Coles was looking to hit up the slope to the bigger part of the ground, but it's a much harder hit towards that grandstand.

He didn't quite go quite through the shot, had he done so it might have gone for six. He knew immediately that he hadn't hit it perfectly.

  7. Brave 69-3published at 45 balls left

    Target 148

Laurie Evans joins Leus du Plooy in the middle.

They need to steer Brave out of trouble after losing three wickets for 11 runs.

    Coles c Jacks b Sowter 4 (Brave 66-3)

Short but sweet from James Coles.

He tries to take the initiative by whacking Nathan Sowter into the stands, but it's a long boundary on the leg side and he picks out Will Jacks, who is patiently waiting at mid-wicket.

Brave have thrown away a position of control.

James Coles is so confident and he has such a nice technique as well.

He got that brilliant catch earlier as well.

He is a triple threat - he can bat, bowl and field.

  11. Brave 65-2published at 50 balls left

    Target 148

    Well, that's quite the introduction!

James Coles reverse sweeps his first ball for four!

Halfway through and those two wickets make it honours even.

You just felt as though something was going to give! James Vince might be frustrated but Will Jacks was just keeping those stumps in play.

We saw it in the women's game and in the first half of this one - it just forces those batters to play across the line.

    Will Jacks enjoyed that one!

    Vince b Jacks 24 (Brave 61-2)

    Something about London buses?

Another sweep, another one bowled! James Vince hit some lovely shots as usual but didn't quite get up to his best rhythm.

Brave were in a solid position, setting themselves for a strong finish, but from nowhere the Invincibles are right back in it.

Former England spinner on BBC Two

He does it time and time again, Adam Zampa! That one just runs on to Alex Davies, who was going for the big shot across the line, but it was who held their nerve the longest.

Another pretty straight delivery that he's missed, but really good bowling.

There is the breakthrough for Oval Invincibles!

    Davies b Zampa 35 (Brave 58-1)

    Zampa strikes again!

He'd been driven for four earlier in the over by James Vince so it's a great response from the Australia leg-spinner.

Alex Davies looks to keep the momentum going with a big slog sweep but he completely loses his shape and the ball skids under the bat.

Big breakthrough, but it's a good knock from Davies to get the Brave off to a decent start.

Nathan Sowter has got away with some already here. He has bowled a couple of long-hops and that might be a bit down to nerves. He used to play for Middlesex so he should know his lines and lengths on this pitch...

At the same stage, Invincibles were 54-2.

Honours even in terms of runs but Brave are cruising without any wickets lost. They've set a good platform for their destructive middle order.

They could do with a wicket here, Oval Invincibles.

Alex Davies and James Vince have just been so great in this competition because when one of them has got going, the other has just allowed them to get going. More often than not it has been James Vince and Alex Davies has knocked things around. He has just helped Vince along.

  19. Brave 48-0published at 65 balls left

    Target 148

Just the 17 wickets in the competition so far for Adam Zampa, second only to Brave's Tymal Mills.

But Davies and Vince take seven from his first five balls, no boundaries but just smartly manipulating the field.

Brave need 100 runs to win from here. With 10 wickets in hand, they're favourites for me at this point.

  20. Brave 41-0published at 70 balls left

    Target 148

With all the focus on Vince, it may be helping Alex Davies' cause.

He helps himself to back-to-back fours off Nathan Sowter, moving to 29 from 17 balls.

He's not going to let the spinners settle in.
