Southern Brave have played pretty well here actually. They have put us under a bit of pressure and got a few boundaries. If we can take a few wickets, things can always change so quickly in The Hundred.

I think Vince is the key here - it will be if we can get Vince out. That puts the rest of their batting order under pressure.

Sam Billings just looks so in control, doesn't he? He speaks so well pre and post show. You can just see the authority he has got, marshalling his troops in the field, moving them slightly to the left and slightly to the right.

Slashed for four more by Alex Davies, as Tom Curran strays with his line again.

It's been a positive start for the Brave and it's a huge boost to remain unscathed in the wickets column, but with the powerplay done, now is time for Invincibles' spinners to come in to play.

Sam Billings remains upbeat and energetic behind the stumps, as usual.

  4. Brave 26-0published at 80 balls left

Good start from Sam Curran as the Invincibles look to drag back some control.

Just three singles from his first five balls, as Brave look for a big finish to their powerplay.

I reckon that is pre-meditated from James Vince. He just thought: "Right, I'm pulling this ball!"

    Yep, Southern Brave fancy this.

James Vince absolutely nails a pull shot to the ropes in the blink of an eye. Wasn't that short from Saqib Mahmood, but Vince was on to it in a flash.

    Timing.

He hasn't had the tournament he would have wanted, Alex Davies, coming off the back of two ducks as well.

Now, at this stage of the tournament, obviously you want to win but you also have half an eye on how you have performed for the draft next year and what is going to happen.

Now is a good time to win the tournament with this team and have a good innings for himself.

    Hello!

Alex Davies helps himself to three fours from Tom Curran's disastrous first five balls. A mix of everything from Curran, one too short and the others too full.

Davies cashes in, and Brave make a positive start.

It is difficult to chase at Lord's. The pitch is just gripping and holding a little bit. They do play well though these two, Davies and Vince, they sort of feed off each other.

Davies usually goes harder at the start, with Vince looking to knock it around a bit, but once Davies sort of sacrifices himself early on it will then be over to Vince.

    It's going to be intriguing...

    Lovely.

James Vince gets off the mark by clipping Saqib Mahmood through mid-wicket for four.

If James Vince gets in, it is going to be tight. If Oval Invincibles can get rid of him early, they will probably take the game.

They have relied on James Vince so much and he has scored over 40% of their runs in this competition, so Oval Invincibles will know how key he is to this chase. We also know how calm and collected James Vince is though.

  12. Brave 0-0published at 99 balls left

    Steady on!

James Vince is almost run out, setting off for a sharp single before he is hastily sent back by Alex Davies.

James Vince is the leading run-scorer of this year's Hundred, and is going to be crucial for Brave in this chase if they are going to win the title for the second time.

He's making his way to the middle with Alex Davies.

    The chase is on!

It's a pretty good score. We know the average score here is about 140. However, runs on the board in a final, it's a tough chasing ground. It'd be the highest chase in a final that we've had. They've done pretty well to get up there.

    Thanks, Jonty.

Decent effort from Oval Invincibles - set up by Will Jacks with 37 at the top of the order and cameos from Jordan Cox and both Curran brothers.

And considering they lost four wickets in the space of 10 balls at one point, it's going to take some chasing from Brave.

After last night's Super Five win in a dramatic Eliminator at Lord's, the Southern Brave have proved they are very capable of late drama.

But will they come up with more of the same tonight?

Here to take you through it is Ffion Wynne.

It's a decent-ish total. James Vince will be thinking about strapping his pads on, he's going to be key for the Brave. You got to get them off to a good start, but the bowlers have done him pretty proud. That's certainly a total you'd fancy knocking off.

The Oval Invincibles end their 100 balls on 147-9, giving the Southern Brave a target of 148 to win The Hundred final for the second time.

It will be the highest ever chase in a Hundred final, should they pull it off.
