News from Australia, where Sean Abbott and Brendan Doggett have been brought into the Australian squad for the second Test against India in Adelaide.

Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of the match with a low grade left side injury. Abbott and Doggett join Beau Webster as squad additions for Adelaide. Hazlewood will remain with the group in Adelaide to prepare for the remainder of the series.

Shoaib Bashir is going to play his shots as well it seems but plays and misses with a big swipe first ball.

He gets off the mark with a single whip leg side before Brydon Carse keeps strike with one dabbed to point.

That's gone a long way!

Banged in short by Matt Henry from round the wicket, it's a decent bouncer but that doesn't stop Brydon Carse going after it.

He cracks the hook shot high over fine leg and onto the grass bank for six.

Just to add to Will O'Rourke's frustration, his bouncer next ball sails over Ben Stokes' head, over Tom Blundell and away for five wides.

Another catch goes down from New Zealand. It's not an easy one as Brydon Carse advances to Will O'Rourke and has a big swing.

He sends the ball spiralling up into the off side and Glenn Phillips sprints across from gully.

The ball drops over his shoulder, he gets his hands to it but can't hold on. How many drops is that now? Eight?

Harry Brook resumed on 132 and picked up where he left on on day one as he advanced to 171 before feathering behind off Matt Henry.

He was dropped for the fifth time before that but as fortunate as he was, it was still some innings from the Yorkshireman.
