Shoaib Bashir has done the business again for England - he has bowled them to victory.

The England seamers were a bit off on this pitch, but a win is a win. Well played Zimbabwe. I have been impressed by their fight and their passion. They were always up against it.

I have seen many a side crumble when you get flogged for 600-odd.

Not even Stuart Broad would’ve reviewed that last wicket. The batter must have thought it was going under.

Bashir catches Chivanga lbw to give England innings victory

And that's out. England win by an innings and 45 runs.

It was a hopeful review at best from Chivanga.

    It's plumb.

  6. Zimbabwe reviewpublished at 59 overs

    That could be it.

After being struck for a couple of fours, Shoaib Bashir thinks he has Tanaka Chivanga lbw. It's pretty plumb... but Zimbabwe review.

  7. Zim 251-8published at 58.3 overs

Zimbabwe bring up their 250 and it's a cute shot from Tanaka Chivanga, guiding the ball cheekily over Harry Brook in the slips.

  8. Zim 244-8published at 58 overs

    Thanks Mike.

Can Victor Nyauchi and Tanaka Chivanga survive until tea?

Bashir is hunting for his sixth wicket.

  9. Zim 241-8published at 57 overs

Tanaka Chivanga is the last man in, with Richard Ngarava unable to bat.

He sees out the last four balls of the over to give Bashir a wicket maiden.

And with that I'll hand over to Elizabeth Botcherby to take you through to the conclusion of this match.

Coming down the track, trying to give it the full kitchen sink. That extra bit of bounce from Bashir did Raza. There'll be harder challenges to come this summer and winter but it helps to go in with wickets behind you.

He's skied it! He's going to be caught. Another wicket for Bashir. He did it last year as well. Well, well, well.

Raza going for the big hit has simply skied a very simple catch. Zimbabwe are on the verge of defeat.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 56.2 overs

    Raza c Brook b Bashir 60 (Zim 241-8)

A fourth Test five-fer for 21-year-old Shoaib Bashir!

Sikandar Raza goes for a big leg-side mow and top edges over his head, Harry Brook back pedals to take the catch.

    England are one wicket away.

  13. Zim 241-7published at 56 overs

    Shot!

Josh Tongue comes into the attack for the first time in this session, replacing Stokes, and Sikandar Raza absolutely smears his second ball over the covers for four.

    That flew away...

It's easy to forget how young and inexperienced Shoaib Bashir is, but he's getting some nice drift into the breeze here.

  15. Zim 236-7published at 55 overs

Bashir continues in his hunt for a fourth Test five-fer.

No luck on this occasion, with Raza taking the over's sole single to square leg.

  16. Zim 235-7published at 54 overs

    Consecutive fours past the cordon!

Victor Nyauchi cuts Ben Stokes away to the ropes, then edges the following ball through a similar area.

A grimace from the England captain.

Harry Brook has taken 30 catches and dropped just three with a catching efficiency of 91%. That is the highest for any outfielder in the world with a minimum of 20 catches taken since Brook's debut in Tests.

Right, let's just take a second to enjoy Harry Brook's catch to dismiss Wesley Madhevere.

    It's a stunner.

  20. Zim 227-7published at 53 overs

    Trail by 73 runs

New batter Victor Nyauchi takes a single to bring Sikandar Raza back on strike, and the all-rounder slog-sweeps the ball through fine leg for four.

Incidentally, we've had confirmation that Richard Ngarava won't bat after he picked up an injury on day one, so England only need nine wickets to wrap up the victory.
