Four and gone - India finally have their breakthrough.

India introduce Prasidh Krishna in place of Siraj and he has a wicket with his second ball.

Zak Crawley works his first delivery past mid-on and to the boundary, but the follow-up swings and takes the edge, flying to KL Rahul at slip.

England's excellent opening partnership comes to an end, almost out of nowhere.

Shubman Gill needs to formulate a new attack otherwise this game will slip through his fingers. This hasn't worked so far, so he needs to rip up the sheet and start again.

His bowlers haven't done him much good, so it may come down to field positions.

  3. Eng 184-0published at 42 overs

Three singles for England off Ravindra Jadeja, including a delicate reverse chop towards third from Ben Duckett.

Tea has been moved back to 16:30 BST, by the way.

I said it on Sunday, I shall say it again…. Not convinced it mattered who bowled first after all…

How's the bat or bowl debate going? If they win the toss they'd bat right? Negate that? Expect pitches prepared to improve in England from now on.

  5. Eng 181-0published at 41 overs

Mohammed Siraj resumes with the final ball of his over, which Ben Duckett defends.

I'm told we haven't lost any overs from the day - we could potentially still have 55 of them left to play.

Looks like we'll soon get going again after that shower.

    A superb knock.

The drizzle is settling on top of the pitch. You have to be careful as a bowler because when the ball gets hit into the outfield and gets wet, you lose that zip.

England openers just calmly and efficiently knocking off a near impossible target against one of the world's best bowlers on a day five pitch - I genuinely can't put into words how strange this feels.

It's great to see the competitiveness between Duckett and Siraj. You can see this Test match means a lot to both of the teams.

    Ah, off we go.

There's a steady drizzle at Headingley and the umpires have taken the players off with one ball remaining in Mohammed SIraj's over.

Before that, we'd had four singles off the over, while Duckett played and missed with a massive booming straight drive attempt.

That shot got more verbals from Siraj, but it seemed to amuse him more than anything.

Ben Duckett brings up the seventh century of the Test match, only once before has a Test in England featured seven centuries - England vs Australia at Trent Bridge back in 1938.

It is never easy for bowlers with a left-hand, right-hand combination. It's the most challenging part. And Duckett and Crawley both have different games as well.

In the past 20 years, the only other England openers to make hundreds in the fourth innings of a Test have ended up with knighthoods.

  15. Eng 177-0published at 40 overs

    Target 371

Duckett reverse-chops the final ball of the over to third for a single, retaining the strike.

By the way, the first ball of the over passed through everyone for four byes, which took the remaining runs required below 200.

Of course it comes off a reverse sweep!

For the third time in two overs, Ben Duckett smacks Ravindra Jadeja to the boundary with the unorthodox shot, bringing up his century from 121 balls.

A superb effort from the England opener.
