Another drop for Yashasvi Jaiswal. Siraj is just standing with his hands on his hips. A missed opportunity.

There's also a dropped catch in a chase at Headingley...

Well, that's not going to improve Mohammed Siraj's mood.

The India seamer has changed ends and Ben Duckett mis-times a pull off his penultimate delivery, sending the ball looping square.

Yashasvi Jaiswal runs in from the ropes but doesn't manage to hold onto the ball diving forward.

Duckett runs a single to move to 98, while replays show Siraj screaming in frustration as the catch went down - poor Jaiswal, he's had an awful time in the field in this match, spilling several chances.

England's highest fourth innings opening partnerships:

    • 203 - Atherton & Gooch vs Australia, 1991
    • 185 - Boycott & Brearley vs Pakistan, 1978
    • 165* - Crawley & Duckett vs India, 2025
    • 161* - Boycott & Edrich vs Australia, 1971

This is also the highest opening partnership in the fourth innings by any side against India

India batter on BBC Test Match Special

Ben Duckett is not missing any reverse sweeps. He is timing them right out the middle of the bat. Not many batters can do that.

India wouldn't mind a bit of a break for some time to regroup.

    Target 371

Mohammed SIraj gets the chance to cool off as spinner Ravindra Jadeja comes on to bowl.

Ben Duckett twice nails reverse sweeps to the boundary, the first of those taking him into the nineties.

Jadeja does see one ball spit off the pitch and fly past the England opener's face - he won't mind that.

It’s chucking down at Elland Road…

    Matt

Looking brighter in Leeds both weather and the chase. Are we in for a classic England run chase or a classic collapse? Nerves a jangling...

    Neil in Leeds

Chucking it down and brightening up?! One of you has to be telling porkies. Own up...

Zak Crawley starts Jasprit Bumrah's over by working the ball through mid-wicket for four - his sixth of the innings.

Anon 13:57: Michael Vaughan's 2004 team won 7 out of 7 home Tests, including two chases of over 280. I like to think they'd have gone for this.

He's looking good out there Zak Crawley. He is making Bumrah look like an average international bowler out there, not the best in the world.

Only Joe Root (122 balls vs New Zealand, Wellington 2023) and Ben Foakes (116 balls vs South Africa, Manchester 2022) have scored slower half-centuries for England in the 'Bazball' era than Crawley's today.

Edged... and safely through the cordon!

Mohammed Siraj's final delivery clips the side of Ben Duckett's bat and flies through an empty first slip for four, bringing up England's 150.

That was his second boundary off the over after he sent the ball past mid-off - Siraj isn't happy and walks right up to the England batters to have a chunter at them.

At 111 balls this is Zak Crawley's slowest half-century of his career. His previous slowest was 100 balls against West Indies in North Sound in 2022.

Perhaps Crawley felt a bit of pressure in the first innings after getting out in the first over, but it is a terrific 50 from him.

Headingley on its feet again. After Ollie Pope's ton in the first innings, the Jacob Bethell pressure moved towards Zak Crawley.

    The ideal response from Crawley.

Boundaries are coming freely here. If two boundaries are coming off your main bowler, you do worry as captain.

It was such a lovely shot from Duckett. I have spoken about how late he plays the ball, he makes it look so simple but facing Bumrah really isn't.
