I would've been tempted to bowl Sam Curran in the penultimate over.

He is such a skilful bowler and bowling at the death is his bread and butter, with his great changes of pace, his cutters and his lower balls.

It's a big risk to put him in for 10 balls in a row.

Two dot balls to finish the set.

    Crucial!

    Phoenix 159-4

    There's the half-century!

Liam Livingstone gets back on strike via a single that comes off a scramble after keeper Sam Billings threw at Mousley's stumps.

He then sends a single square to bring up the landmark.

  4. 6 runs

Phoenix 157-4published at 14 balls left

    Runs for Phoenix now though!

Dan Mousley gets a six, smashing the continuing Sam Curran over long-on.

Rashid Khan's 0-59 from 20 balls are the most expensive figures in The Hundred.

It beats the previous worst of 1-53 by David Payne and David Wiese.

Birmingham Phoenix will feel quite comfortable chasing 30 runs off 15 balls. I'm sure they will break it down into overs.

It's going to be important for Dan Mousley to keep going up one end as well. He cannot afford any dot balls or anything from there, otherwise it puts a lot of pressure on Liam Livingstone.

Sam Curran strikes Dan Mousley on the pad with his first delivery, but it's heading down leg and there's a touch of bat on replay as well.

The batters take a run and just three more singles and a wide follow from the rest of the set.

The seamer does well to break the flow of runs - Liam Livingstone is on 49 having been unable to reach his half-century off this set.

This is pure striking from Liam Livingstone. He is putting on an absolute masterclass here. He has put Birmingham Phoenix into a really strong position.

I think the game is still on here.

Birmingham Phoenix still have 20 deliveries to go and they still have so much strength in their batting line-up. Louis Kimber and Benny Howell are still to come in, they can both put the ball out the park, so it is very much still on.

    35 runs needed

Six and four to end the set!

Hauled over square and then sent like a bullet through the covers.

26 off the set - all Livingstone's - and Rashid Khan finishes on 0-59 from his 20 balls.

The strategic time-out is called - Invincibles need to regroup. The WinViz has swung dramatically.

    Four, six, six!

Rashid Khan's expensive night continues as Liam Livingstone carts him round the park.

    A game-changing set?

Pure strength that from Liam Livingstone!

Nathan Sowter just bowled it a bit wider and gave Liam Livingstone a bit of a room to open up his arms.

It was a great strike, but they are going to need a bit more of that if they're going to come close to Oval Invincibles' total.

  13. Phoenix 120-4published at 25 balls left

    61 runs needed

Liam Livingstone powers Nathan Sowter through the covers for four, but the rest of the set goes for just three runs.

    More needed at stage.

That wicket absolutely swings this game once again. The win predictor is now 80% to Oval Invincibles.

Birmingham Phoenix still have some dangerous hitters, but someone is going to have to play an extraordinary innings from here. It wasn't to be Jacob Bethell this time.

  15. Phoenix 113-4published at 30 balls left

    67 runs needed

Phoenix take two singles off the remainder of Tom Curran's set as Dan Mousley comes to the crease.

Both teams had exactly the same score at this stage - but can a Phoenix batter do a Donovan Ferreira?

But Jacob Bethell goes from the next delivery!

The Phoenix batter sends the ball spiralling into the sky but it drops down to be collected by Will Jacks at long-off.

  18. Phoenix 111-3published at 34 balls needed

Whipped away behind square for four!

Jacob Bethell sends the ball away and Saqib Mahmood can't get down to stop it.

Bowler Tom Curran screams in frustration.

Liam Livingstone's power is coming through. He just stood and delivered, hammering it through the off side and just beating extra cover.

Rashid Khan was seriously quick on that deep point boundary, so he will be disappointed that he didn't complete the stop after getting there.

Despite that misfield, Rashid Khan has improved considerably as a fielder in recent years - up until 2023 he had a catch percentage of just 69% in T20 cricket, that's risen to 85% since then.
