That is a good catch. It was in the air for a long time, and coming into the shadows from the sunlight for Arundhati Reddy.

    The England skipper departs.

And Radha Yadav get the crucial wicket of Tammy Beaumont.

Beaumont walks down the crease and looks for a maximum, but can only chip it to Arundhati Reddy at long on!

Beaumont has nailed a few cut shots through point for four. It's a classic strength of hers: 176 of her runs in T20 internationals have come with it, dismissed just twice and averaging 88.

The fielder at backward square leg was very slow to react there because of the sun setting directly in her eyeline. You've got no chance, if you can't see it then you are purely guessing the angle of the ball.

Nothing you can do - apart from wear a cap, maybe. That would help.

  5. drinks break

    Drinks breakpublished at 10 overs

    Eng 68-2

A frustrating over from Arundhati Reddy before the drinks break.

Tammy Beaumont sweeps her third delivery, but Amanjot Kaur, fielding at deep backward square leg, went the other way first before spotting the ball. She tries to recover but can't stop the boundary.

The India fast bowler finishes the over with a bye that evades everyone and runs away to the fence behind.

Capsey is so talented, you do feel like a score is due from her.

This is Alice Capsey's first double-figure score in the series so far, she's managed five, five and two so far.

  8. Eng 58-2published at 9 overs

India bring on the pace of Amanjot Kaur.

A full toss from the bowler is send over the mid-wicket by Tammy Beaumont, but it falls short of Smriti Mandhana who is fielding deep.

Four runs from that over and England will hope Beaumont, on 15, and Alice Capsey, on 16, will help them to a decent total here.

It is really smart batting from Tammy Beaumont, knowing the field is up on that side. She's cleared the front leg, given herself room to manipulate the field and now the bowler has got to think about a different plan.

Sneh Rana into the attack now.

After three singles as many balls, England stand-in skipper Tammy Beaumont puts away a wide delivery from Rana through the off side and into the fence.

It's a similar delivery from Rana up next and it gets the same treatment from Beaumont - back-to-back fours for the England batter.

  11. Eng 42-2published at 7 overs

Harmanpreet Kaur calls on Radha Yadav now - the fifth different bowler for India already.

The left-arm spinner only concedes four from her first over.

Dunkley using her feet again to spin, and it brings her demise - but usually she's brilliant at it. Before today, when doing so she averages 37, and strikes at a remarkable 191 - right option, poor execution for the English opener.

A boundary from Alice Capsey to finish the powerplay.

England have lost both openers early and Sophia Dunkley, who scored 75 at The Oval, looked set for another good innings here before Deepti Sharma sent her back.

The hosts have work to do in a must-win game.

That wicket has come from the brilliant fielding the ball before. Sophia Dunkley wanted to go over extra cover but it's just flown off the outside edge.

It's a very good catch from Radha Yadav at point, with the ball just dipping on her.

    England are under pressure.

England lose second quick wicket as Dunkley edges to point

Sophia Dunkley once again uses her feet, but this time the timing is not there.

The England opener slices it and Radha Yadav does some good work to dive forward and complete the catch at backward point.

Not the start England were looking for.

England need a win to keep the series alive and India have never won a T20 series here, so there is a lot to play for.

Another smart shot from Dunkley, the way she flicks her wrists and uses that bottom hand to get all the power behind it.

  18. Eng 33-1published at 5 overs

Two boundaries coming from Shree Charani's second over.

First, Alice Capsey gets a nick off the second ball and it runs away for a four over the wicketkeeper's head.

Then Sophia Dunkley take the aerial route over mid-on for another four.

  19. How's stat?!published at 18:50 British Summer Time 9 July

  20. Eng 23-1published at 4 overs

Alice Capsey joins Sophia Dunkley at the crease and flicks the final ball of Arundhati Reddy's over off her pads to get off the mark.
