Hmmm.
Bell responds with an attempted slower ball that doesn't quite come out right. Shafali Verma ducks underneath, and gets a free hit from the full toss.

This feels a long time ago!
That's stunning.
When Smriti Mandhana bats like this, you kind of wish that England had scored more runs just so that we could see her for longer.
Lauren Bell bowls a little wide of off stump, and Mandhana guides it effortlessly down to deep third with such class.
Target 127
My word, India already look like they are batting on a different pitch.
Shafali Verma tonks another straight back down the ground for four.
Yep, England turn to spin early.
But Charlie Dean's second ball is smoked over mid-on by Smriti Mandhana for a one-bounce four.
Glorious.

Shafali Verma must have been watching Wimbledon! She is showing she is not frightened of this pace whatsoever.
Target 127
Filer does attempt the short one but this pitch isn't quite as suited to it, compared to the zip she got from The Oval a few nights ago. It hangs limply outside off stump and Verma can easily let it go.
The next ball is whacked like a tennis forehand, back past the bowler for the third boundary of the over.
14 from it, and with so few runs to play with, it's already time for England and Tammy Beaumont to have a rethink.
Well, Shafali Verma isn't going to give in that easily.
She hammers Filer for two fours - one thumped over the top, the second slashed through point.
Cue the bouncer...

Shafali Verma has shown weakness in the series and that's playing the short ball. She's scared of it.
Target 127
England will likely turn to spin sooner rather than later, considering how well India's slow bowlers exploited the surface.
It'll be Lauren Filer to bowl the second over though, which is fair enough considering opener Shafali Verma's struggles against the short ball.

It's a bit of a freebie to get Smriti Mandhana up and running.
Poor.
Down the leg side and helped on its way to the boundary - a gift for Mandhana.
Target 127
Will it be 3-1 or 2-2?
Plenty to play for, as Lauren Bell starts with a dot ball to the left-handed Smriti Mandhana.

Great effort from England to finish a disappointing innings on a high, with 16 runs from the last over. There are only 10 matches where England have scored more runs from the 20th over, none of them against India.
Cheers, Adwaidh.
Good evening, everyone. Another pretty average performance from England there, I'm afraid - though those two sixes in the last over have given them a glimmer.
There were 34 dot balls throughout the innings on a slow-ish surface, and they didn't score any boundaries between overs 10-19.
And that's it from me on this stint.
Taking you through India's chase will be my colleague Ffion Wynne...
Over to you, Ffion.
England post a target of 127 for India in a game that the hosts should win to keep this five-match T20 series alive.
Many of England batters got good starts, but they kept losing wickets whenever they tried to accelerate.
India will look to wrap up this game and the series when they come out to bat here in Manchester.

A bit of a boost for England late in the innings but you feel they'll need to be near-perfect with the ball and in the field to keep this series alive.

England will take a bit of momentum from the final over but I think they are shy.
India have the edge, but England need to learn from that innings. Take the pace off the ball, and bowl into the pitch. Anything full will fly down the ground.

A late flurry in the final over gives England a chance.
