  1. Brave 91-7published at 70 balls

Yep, as Nichole says it's one trick too many as Curran is slapped to the fence.

30 balls to go. 140 would be possible if there were more wickets left.

What do these two do to Rashid Khan next? See him off?

Sam Curran is almost trying a little bit too hard now, he is bowling variation after variation. Maybe he needs to just reset and bowl his stock delivery. He is usually very successful in what he does, but we've seen before that he is a little bit of a showboat.

  3. Brave 84-7published at 67 balls

There's the Scurran moon ball! 47mph. A remarkably slow slower ball.

  4. Brave 82-7published at 65 balls

Having conceded just the three, Sam Curran is going to continue for another five.

  5. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 63 balls

    Thompson c Billings b S Curran 24 (Brave 81-7)

And Sam Curran strikes almost immediately as Jordan Thompson nicks a heave.

Thompson's 24 is the best we've seen from the Brave but now he goes and we're into the bowlers.

  6. Postpublished at 19:21 British Summer Time

There's 40 balls to go and only now are Oval Invincibles turning to Sam Curran. That tells you something about their options.

  7. Brave 78-6published at 60 balls

    Cartwright 11, Thompson 22

Rashid Khan has another few words to Hilton Cartwright after the big Australian fails to pick the googly.

Rashid's arms are whizzing everywhere. It must be so tough.

  8. Brave 71-6published at 55 balls

    Cartwright 10, Thompson 17

Bad news for the Brave. After a little breather, Rashid Khan is back.

Sitting at 64 runs at this stage in the game isn't the worst in the world, if they can take the game deep. If they lose another wicket in the next five balls though, it is going to pretty much be game over.

This is a key five balls.

  10. Brave 64-6published at 50 balls

It's not a lot but that set was at least something for Southern Brave. You feel they're going to need 130 at the very minimum, however.

  11. 6 runs

    Brave 62-6published at 48 balls

Now the kids in the crowd are out of their seats. Jordan Thompson batters four off Tom Curran and then swivels on a pull shot to lift a six.

When you look at Oval Invincibles' bowling line-up it is so impressive. Jason Behrendorff is one of the most formidable and important cogs in Perth Scorchers' multiple title-winning side. Then they can throw the ball to Jordan Clark, Tom Curran and Rashid Khan.

    Who's next? Take your pick!

  13. Brave 50-6published at 45 balls

Southern Brave have finally reached 50. Southampton is quiet.

  14. Brave 49-6published at 43 balls

Rashid Khan is getting stuck into Hilton Cartwright now. It sounds like there's some chatter out there.

    Box-office entertainment.

  15. How's stat?!published at 19:08 British Summer Time

    Kieran Parmley
    Cricviz analyst

46% of Rashid Khan's deliveries in this year's Hundred have been googlies, a 10% increase compared to his 2024 Hundred outing.

  16. Brave 44-6published at 19:07 British Summer Time

Rashid Khan is indeed going to keep bowling from the other end.

He has three wickets in five balls to why wouldn't he?!

Rashid Khan is back. He is very much on fire! I don't think he can do much better than this right now.

Is he going to go again? I would be saying that I want to bowl again. I would want 10! He is fired up, ready and excited. If I was him, I would want to keep going.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 40 balls

    Coles lbw b Rashid 7 (Brave 44-6)

Gone! It's hitting leg stump flush.

I said Oval Invincibles can do no wrong and I really was not joking. Sam Billings is even getting all of the reviews right.

  19. Postpublished at 19:05 British Summer Time

It looks a bit leg side...

  20. Invincibles reviewpublished at 40 balls

But is it three in four balls for Rashid Khan?

James Coles has been hit on the pad. The umpire said no...
