    Kent 393 v Glos 472 & 71-1

  2. wicket

DURHAM 427 ALL OUTpublished at 14:40 British Summer Time 20 April

    Doggett c Bairstow b Thompson 0 (Durham 427 v Yorks 307)

Yorkshire take the final wicket to limit the damage on first innings to 120 which was beyond dreamland when Alex Lees and Emilio Gay were tanking along at 301-1.

Good performance from the Yorkshire attack to take 9-126 in a session and a half and will fill them with hope based on those figures that a lead of 200 could be enough to win this game.

  3. wicket

WICKET - NOTTS 367 ALL OUTpublished at 14:40 British Summer Time 20 April

    Ahmed c Smith b Barnard 4 (Warwicks 93 v Notts 367 all out)

A wide ball from Ed Barnard tempts Farhan Ahmed and he edges behind to Kai Smith.

Haseeb Hameed ends undefeated on 138 not out, receiving applause as he leaves the field with Ahmed.

Notts are all out for 367 and lead this one by a mammoth 274 runs.

  4. 100 runs

for Saif Zaibpublished at 14:38 British Summer Time 20 April

    Derbys 307 v Northants 500-8

    Saif ZaibImage source, Rex Features

Back to back Championship centuries for Saif Zaib, who pushes Wayne Madsen for a single and goes to three figures from just 86 balls faced. Superb knock.

Northants reach 500 as Calvin Harrison takes one off Jack Morley, who then brings Zaib's innings to an end as the left-hander - on 105 - skies to Zak Chappell at mid-off.

And with that, the visitors declare.

  5. Postpublished at 14:38 British Summer Time 20 April

    Worcs 41-3 - target 295

Kashif Ali stands tall and punches Kasun Rajitha through the covers for four off the back foot.

Worcestershire need a few more of those.

  6. 'A really good catch from Harmer'published at 14:38 British Summer Time 20 April

    Essex 179 & 317 v Worcestershire 202 & 41-3

    Nick Gledhill
    BBC Essex

It was very good catch from Simon Harmer, it was quiet low down a really good effort.

That has further undermined Worcestershire's chances here which are looking fairly bleak it has to be said.

There's a reasonable chance this game could end today now I think.

  7. Appeal - Not Outpublished at 14:35 British Summer Time 20 April

    Hants 336 v Somerset 184 & 24-0

Hampshire think they have their first wicket of the second innings as Sean Dickson looks, at first glance, to have edged behind but the umpire shakes his head - not out given.

    Dickson survives.

  8. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:32 British Summer Time 20 April

    Jones c Harmer b Porter 4 (Worcs 32-3 - target 295)

    Looking ominous for Worcestershire.

Rob Jones pushes forward defensively to Jamie Porter and Simon Harmer takes a good low catch at second slip.

Adam Hose is the new Pears batsman.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:31 British Summer Time 20 April

    Tongue b Booth c Smith 0 (Warwicks 93 v Notts 357-9)

Michael Booth has two in two balls!

Pace seems to beat Josh Tongue who edges behind to Kai Smith for his fifth wicket of the innings.

Last man in Farhan Ahmed survives Booth's hat-trick ball, just, playing and missing.

    Notts lead by 264.

  10. Division Two updatepublished at 14:31 British Summer Time 20 April

Northamptonshire have lost their seventh wicket at Derby with Justin Broad slogging Wayne Madsen to mid-wicket and departing for 46. Saif Zaib is 86 not out and they are 470-7, 163 ahead.

Batting looks pretty easy at Canterbury where Ben Charlesworth pulled Kashif Ali away for four to move to 46 not out. The visitors are 68-0 and lead by 147.

  11. 'Interesting that Hampshire have a third man'published at 14:28 British Summer Time 20 April

    Hampshire 336 v Somerset 184 & 20-0

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

It's interesting that Hampshire have a third man. You don't always see a third man posted when the ball is new.

You feel that Somerset will have to bat for at least four sessions and then hope to take a whole lot of Hampshire wickets very quickly but the key thing for Somerset is not to get bowled out.

It's hard to see how they can force a win from here given the weather forecast.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:26 British Summer Time 20 April

    Coughlin c Bairstow b Thompson 0 (Sussex 422-9 v Yorks 307)

    And two balls later another.

Exactly the same shape from Jordan Thompson if a fraction wide and Paul Coughlin is drawn into a wafty swing and gets the edge.

Jonny B does the business behind the stumps and Yorks have a third bowling point in the bag.

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:26 British Summer Time 20 April

    Hutton b Booth 14 (Warwicks 93 v Notts 357-8)

Good bit of bowling from Michael Booth and he claims Brett Hutton's wicket.

Hutton went to swing big but played on to his own stumps.

    Nottinghamshire eight down now.

  14. Postpublished at 14:26 British Summer Time 20 April

    Worcs 28-2 - target 295

Switch of ends for Jamie Porter, who replaces Shane Snater at the Sir Alastair Cook End.

You would imagine any refreshment outlet at that end would reflect the man himself - unflashy but ruthlessly efficient.

Porter has 1-7 from five overs so far.

  15. wicket

    Clark c Hill b Thompson 33 (Durham 422-8 v Yorks 307)

  16. 350 up for Nottspublished at 14:22 British Summer Time 20 April

    Warwicks 93 v Notts 350-7

A single from Haseeb Hameed, who has moved on to 132 not on, means Nottinghamshire have 350 runs on the board with three wickets still remaining.

Their lead extends to 257 runs

Ollie Pope makes his way back to the pavilion

Just two balls after cutting behind square to bring up his century, Pope is on his way.

Jayden Seales bangs in a short one and the Surrey and England man gets in a bind, top edging a simple grab to John Simpson behind the stumps.

That was a decent knock from Pope but he will surely feel he has left plenty of runs out there as he settles down to watch this afternoon.

  18. Division Two updatepublished at 14:16 British Summer Time 20 April

    Lancs 263 v Leics 268-3

Update to tell you about at Old Trafford and Leicestershire have now moved past Lancashire's first innings score with seven wickets still remaining.

Lewis Hill is currently 45 not out and Peter Handscomb is on 33 not out.

  19. 50 runs

partnership for Gloucestershirepublished at 14:13 British Summer Time 20 April

    Kent 393 v Glos 472 & 53-0

Easy for Ben Charlesworth, who turns a ball from Joey Evison for four through square leg.

That is a 50 partnership from 60 balls with Cameron Bancroft - and Gloucestershire lead by 132.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 20 April

    O'Neill c Hain b Booth 50 (Warwicks 93 v Notts 331-7)

Fergus O'Neill goes to 50 following his ninth boundary of his innings, creaming a shot through the off-side.

In the very next ball, he goes hit Michael Booth over his head for six and skies one up in the air and it's the simplest of tasks for Sam Hain to gather.

Notts lead by 238 with three first-innings wickets remaining.
