    Terrible from Shubman Gill… he can blame his teammate and he can blame the fact he slipped a little but in reality there was never a run - he probably wouldn’t have got home if he didn’t slip!

    For me, it looks funnier. Like a cartoon character, he was a windmill of limbs as he tried to stop and turn.

    He set off like a jack rabbit. It's a great bit of fielding from Gus Atkinson and England get the prized scalp of Shubman Gill.

    It was like a greyhound out of the stalls. If it was hit, it was always out because he was miles out.

    He set off at top speed for a single, which definitely was not there, and Gus Atkinson, on his follow-through, throws down the stumps.

    I can't understand Overton opening after the break. Surely you go with your two best bowlers Atkinson and Woakes, unless they want the same end? Hopefully he proves me wrong but his and Tongue's wayward bowling meant England missed an opportunity to get ahead in the morning session.

    The fourth delivery comes flying down the leg side, rears up, and a wide-eyed Jamie Smith catches it at head height.

    After five dot balls, Shubman Gill drives through the covers for four. Absolutely lovely.
