But before we turn our focus to the Superchargers' run chase, let's take a look at the big breaking news from the world of cricket.

    Thanks, Tim.

Keep things nice and simple, and the Superchargers should grab all four points here.

But as they say, there's many a slip between the cup and the lip. Let's see how this one turns out.

You would think the Superchargers are favourites to chase this down on their own patch.

My esteemed colleague Adwaidh Rajan will talk you through the remainder of the game.

The Phoenix lost crucial wickets at crucial times and in short format cricket you don't have that much time to rebuild and it's taken it's toll there.

  5. Phoenix 116-6published at 100 balls

Just the one boundary off the final over for Birmingham Phoenix.

On a good pitch at Headingley that looks a below-par score.

  6. Phoenix 113-6published at 97 balls

Some lusty blows from Sterre Kalis and Emily Arlott off the final set from Kate Cross.

The second delivery from Cross is belted for four over the long-on boundary.

Great spell of bowling from Linsey Smith. Created all sorts of issues throughout the innings and had a strangle-hold on Kalis and Arlott there.

  8. Phoenix 107-6published at 95 balls

Sterre Kalis is like a cat on a hot tin roof as she moves all about the crease during this penultimate set from Linsey Smith, but she cannot get one over the rope.

    Three runs off five balls.

Northern Superchargers have been the tightest death bowling unit of any team in the competition so far. They have conceded 75 runs from 66 balls (1.14 runs per ball) which is the least expensive of any side.

  10. Phoenix 103-6published at 90 balls

A slower bouncer from Annabel Sutherland is ruthlessly pulled for four by Emily Arlott. That will help the Phoenix. They need a strong finish here.

Final ball of the set and Sterre Kalis chips it high in the air but the ball lands between two fielders in purple shirts.

10 balls to go for the Phoenix.

Nice shot off the fourth ball of that set. Sterre Kalis was not trying to hit the ball too hard and it just races away. Annabel Sutherland didn't quite put in the hard yards early enough.

  12. dropped catch

Kallis dropped on 12published at 83 balls

Sterre Kalis slashes at a delivery from Grace Ballinger and the ball flies at speed to wicketkeeper Bess Heath.

It hits Heath on the top of her wrist and she cannot hang on.

The Superchargers have bowled well. They've taken wickets at the right time and haven't let the Phoenix gain any momentum at any time in the innings.

  14. Phoenix 87-6published at 80 balls

Sterre Kalis and Emily Arlott pick up four singles off Linsey Smith's next set. Superchargers content to just manage the rate at the moment.

You need to try and cause a bit of panic, a bit of mayhem. If it was me on the Phoenix I'd have been going for it more already. You need to try and get some momentum back in your favour.

  16. Phoenix 83-6published at 75 balls

A bit of the steadying of the ship for Birmingham Phoenix but with 25 balls left they need to bolster that total.

It's been slow going for the Phoenix. They've lost wickets in clusters at big stages. I think they're going to be light here on a good pitch.

  18. Phoenix 78-6published at 70 balls

    Kate Cross is back.

Sterre Kalis chips her over the top for a couple but the Phoenix are unable to find the boundary in that set.

Good change of pace from Sutherland. Not giving the batter much room to work with. I feel like Sutherland has been one of the main bowlers who has created some pressure on the Phoenix for the Superchargers.

  20. Phoenix 72-6published at 65 balls

Hollie Armitage decides to go for the kill by sticking with her frontline bowlers.

Annabel Sutherland is tight with four singles taken off her next set.
