  1. 'The Bears need a wicket'published at 14:27 British Summer Time 27 July

    Bears 163-8 v The Blaze 45-2

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM commentator

The Bears are going to need a wicket here again.

There's been some very good batting in the last 10 minutes from Kelly and Elwiss.

  2. Postpublished at 5 overs

    The Blaze 45-2 v Bears 163-8

Spin on with Georgia Davis but the runs keep coming with Georgia Elwiss and Marie Kelly counter punching strongly.

Three fours including two either side behind the wicket with a sweep and reverse sweep and a wallop into the off side.

That's 15 from the over and Bears could do with plugging this flow somehow.

    Bears 163-8 v The Blaze 30-2

She read that very well, Marie Kelly, expecting the slower ball from the beginning.

She knew exactly where she was going with that.

  4. Postpublished at 4 overs

    The Blaze 30-2 v Bears 163-8

A bit of a bruising for 18-year-old Amu Surenkumar who is thumped by Marie Kelly straight back past her feet and then over wide mid on.

After two twos and a couple of boundaries she comes back pretty well getting her length a bit more on track with two dots.

A dozen runs to the cause though.

    Bears 163-8 v The Blaze 18-2

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM commentator

I'm not entirely convinced that went where Georgia Elwiss was aiming it, but it turned out to be very effective.

  6. Postpublished at 3 overs

    The Blaze 18-2 v Bears 163-8

Georgia Elwiss finishes the over with her second boundary, advancing down the track and fiddling it it behind point to the rope.

This has been helter skelter stuff from The Blaze who probably need to put their foot on the ball a little.

  7. Postpublished at 2.2 overs

    The Blaze 14-2 v Bears 163-8

Marie Kelly nearly makes it three down trying to ramp Issy Wong and missing it, the ball finding its way to slip via a bounce or two.

She tries again with a 'this is what I meant' and gets it right scooping Wong for four next ball.

  8. No hat trick for Wongpublished at 0.5 overs

    The Blaze 2-2 v Bears 163-8

...but that is quite a start for both the Bears and Wong.

Not only has she taken two wickets but they are two BIG wickets with Tammy Beaumont and Kathryn Bryce two of the larger guns in the Blaze's arsenal.

  9. Postpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 27 July

    Bears 163-8 v The Blaze 2-2

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM commentator

That really was a difficult ball to get first up.

It followed Kathryn Bryce who leaned back as if to get out of the way or open up the possibility of lifting it over the slips, and in the end did neither.

She has knocked over Tammy Beaumont and Kathryn Bryce in the first over and given the Bears the advantage.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 0.4 overs

    K Bryce c Wraith b Wong 0 (The Blaze 2-2 v Bears 163-8)

It's two in two for Wong.

That was a great ball which lifted as it angled in at Kathryn Bryce's body.

The Blaze's leading runs scorer tries to fend it to third man area but feathers it through to Natasha Wraith behind the stumps.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 0.3 overs

    Beaumont b Wong 0 (The Blaze 2-1 v Bears 163-8)

    Wong is having a day.

That has nipped right back through the gate beautifully.

  12. Postpublished at 0.1 overs

    The Blaze 1-0 v Bears 163

Right, here we go... Issy Wong to Marie Kelly and she starts it with a wide down leg.

    Bears 163-8 v The Blaze

Phew! I'm off for an isotonic pick-me-up and an ice bath to recover for the final.

The capable hands of Gideon Brooks will guide you through the chase to see who will meet Surrey in the finale.

    It's coming up shortly.

  14. Who's your money on?published at 13:58 British Summer Time 27 July

    Bears 163-8 v The Blaze

The Bears will happy to have a decent total on the board and The Blaze will be happy to have pulled it back after Warwickshire had looked set for more at 100-2.

It sets things up beautifully for the chase.

This feels like a bang on par score which is why everyone is a little bit on edge.

Issy Wong providing the outstanding contribution with 59 but 163 feels like both teams have a chance.

  16. THE BLAZE ARE SET 164 TO REACH FINALpublished at 20 overs

Heather Graham finds the blockhole and Em Arlott cannot add to her handy cameo of 29.

Both sides will be happy with that.

  17. Postpublished at 19.5 overs

Taylor run out 3 (Bears 163-8 v The Blaze)

Nicely played from Em Arlott who steps across to the offside and scoops Heather Graham just over Ella Claridge at short fine leg for four more.

She smacks the next down the ground and the pair scampers a second.

They try the same trick again as Milie Taylor races back to get a second and get Arlott back on strike.

But her dive is well short as Graham collects and carefully removes the bails.

  18. Postpublished at 19 overs

    Bears 154-7 The Blaze

Super stuff from Kirstie Gordon as she keeps the Bears down to five runs from their penultimate over.

Heather Graham to bowl the final over.

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 18.2 overs

Surenkumar c Elwiss b Gordon 2 (Bears 150-7 The Blaze)

Pace off works for Kirstie Gordon as Amu Surenkumar looks to hit over the top but instead plops a nice catch to Georgia Elwiss at extra cover.

    Millie Taylor takes her place.

  20. Postpublished at 18 overs

    Bears 149-6 v The Blaze

Cassidy McCarthy in for her final over.

She gets her line wrong with the third ball of it and Em Arlott scoops it on its way back over her shoulder for her second four.

New batter Amyu Surenkumar picks up a couple of singles.

Decent over aside from that as McCarthy finishes with 1-29.

How many more runs can Bears squeeze from their final two overs?
