Ash Gardner's catch was the best catch I've seen in the women's game.
Need 88 runs from 48 balls
A reminder this defeat - that is surely what is coming now - will mean England have to win all of the remaining matches in this series to regain the Ashes.
The runs surely don't matter now, despite Lauren Bell nicking a four through Alyssa Healy's legs.
Bharat Sundaresan: That is extraordinary from Ash Gardner. The athleticism followed by the presence of mind followed by the athleticism. One of the best boundary catches ever.
Remember Australia were 59-4 before one of the great Washes knocks.
And Gardner wasn't done there.

England will be thinking of what could've been.

The end is near.
Filer c Garth b King 0 (Eng 215-9)
Australia are closing in. It's two in the over for Alana King as Lauren Filer chips a leading edge to backward point.
There's no spectacular catch this time. It's just a regulation take to put Australia on the brink.

That was brilliant.

Ash Gardner with one of the moments of Women's Ashes history. Australia's fielding today has been exceptional.
Ecclestone c Gardner b King 2 (Eng 215-8)
Gardner takes a screamer
The best of the lot?! Ash Gardner take a bow.
She has taken one of those juggling boundary catches but that doesn't tell the whole story.
The initial grab is good enough. Gardner takes it one-handed, leaning back after a high hit from Sophie Ecclestone.
Gardner's momentum is taking her over the rope so she tosses the ball back in the air, steps back but then has to leap full length to get back in play and take the ball before it hits the ground.
Stunning, stunning catch.

England need to look ahead to the T20 series. How will they approach it, what will the matchups be, they really need to have an impact.
Need 95 runs from 60 balls
And in a flash the required run-rate has jumped to 9.5 per over.

Roberto Colombi: Phoebe Litchfield take a bow! What a specky! Would anyone in the English team have taken that do you think?
Great grab...
Need 98 more runs from 66 balls
Sophie Ecclestone has managed what she couldn't the other day, getting off the mark.
She can hit them but can crafting an innings to get England home under pressure here? I'm not so sure.

It looks like it hit the toe end of the bat. Wonderful catch by Kim Garth. I fear that this might be the end of England's chase.
Jones c Garth b King 30 (Eng 209-7)
And another! It's a second great catch too.
Amy Jones has managed to loop a sweep around the corner where the ball looks like it'll land safe. Kim Garth swoops in from short fine leg, however, and clinches the ball just above the grass.
Target 309
12 overs left. England need another 102 runs.
Tough ask.
