  1. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.4 overs

    Fuller c Sowter b Neesham 0 (Durham v Hampshire 192-4)

Matty Potts produces a fine stop on the rope to rob Hilton Cartwright of a boundary off the first ball of Jimmy Neesham's final over.

Nobody can stop the colossal six over cow corner from the second delivery however, Neesham just gets his length wrong.

A single comes from the third ball, bringing James Fuller back onto strike... and he GOES immediately.

He pulls down the throat of Nathan Sowter at deep mid-wicket and Neesham celebrates sheepishly.

Four down. Benny Howell is the new man.

  2. Postpublished at 17 overs

    Durham v Hampshire 183-3

James Fuller can't get the final two balls of Ben Raine's over away meaning it's nine runs and wicket from his penultimate over. He'd have taken that five minutes ago.

  3. 'Tremendous catch'published at 19:41 BST 5 September

    Durham v Hampshire 183-3

    Martin Emmerson

    Tremendous catch.

He had to gain a lot of ground there, a difficult dive to execute.

Ben Raine has a happier facial expression now to a couple of balls ago.

Wicket number 249 for Raine in T20 that.

  4. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 16.4 overs

    Vince c Bedingham b Raine 27 (Durham v Hampshire 183-3)

Ben Raine in for his third over and he's bowled them all like they were the final over of the match so far.

A perfect yorker starts off but James Vince cracks the next through the covers where Graham Clark is unable to stop the ball inside the rope. Four runs.

Vince smashes the next one down the ground between two fielders to the long-on rope.

    BUT HE'S GONE NEXT BALL.

A scoop shot over the stumps and David Bedingham produces a wonderful diving catch over his shoulder running round from short fine leg.

    Very big wicket, that.

James Fuller is next in to give it a biff.

  5. Postpublished at 16 overs

    Durham v Hampshire 174-2

Nathan Sowter is back for his fourth and final over but after mistiming the first ball, a reverse sweep from Hilton Cartwright loops towards the rope before flopping over it for a four.

It's not the only damage, after a couple of singles Cartwright picks a shorter delivery an absolutely wellies it over the deep mid-wicket rope for six.

13 off the over. More like it from a Hawks perspective. They looked likely to threaten 250 when they were 90-0 after six overs. Now they'd probably take 220.

  6. Postpublished at 15 overs

    Durham v Hampshire 161-2

After a brief delay for a new bat for Hilton Cartwright, Matty Potts comes back into the attack and beats it with a fine yorker which skids just past off-stump.

Cartwright gets the willow on the next ball for a single before James Vince pulls hard into the deep, only for Colin Ackermann to make a fine running stop just inside the rope to save a couple of runs.

Another leg-side clip for two from Vince sees the Hawks skipper diving to make his ground, but once again an umpire review shows he was safely in the crease.

Vince chops away a fuller delivery for a single to move to 18 from 15 balls before Cartwright miscues one towards point, allowing him to scamper another single.

Seven off the over. The smothering continues.

When the bowlers have got the yorkers right it has been difficult for the batters.

But they did not very much in the powerplay especially, some of the bowling figures are scary reading.

  8. 6 runs

    Postpublished at 14 overs

    Durham v Hampshire 154-2

Hilton Cartwright and James Vince seem content to rotate the strike with a few streaky singles at the moment.

A direct hit from the deep rearranges the stumps but Cartwright was home and dry long before and a review confirms it.

Cartwright eventually opens his shoulders and strides forward to wallop Nathan Sowter over long-off for a maximum, the first in a WHILE.

It brings up the 150 for the Haws and a single makes it 12 off the over.

Given Hampshire were 112-0 from nine overs, this has been a fine recovery nonetheless.

  9. 'Definitely Durham's phase this'published at 19:25 BST 5 September

    Durham v Hampshire 142-2

I think Durham have done really well here to keep Cartwright quiet.

With this pressure building can they get another important breakthrough?

Sowter is doing a really good job here, I think Hampshire will play him sensibly, they don't need to risk it.

    Definitely Durham's phase this.

  10. Postpublished at 13 overs

    Durham v Hampshire 142-2

Ben Stokes is watching on at the Riverside as Callum Parkinson beats the big swing of James Vince, but also the stumps, and Ollie Robinson's gloves, with the ball racing away for four byes.

The rest of the over costs four runs in total, with James Vince and Hilton Cartwright struggling to middle anything.

    Good comeback, this.

  11. Postpublished at 12 overs

    Durham v Hampshire 134-2

Jimmy Neesham bowls his third over, having gone for 45 in his first two.

Some good running between the wickets turns two James Vince singles into doubles and there's a smattering of applause as the fourth delivery is a dot ball.

Vince cracks the fifth down the ground but doesn't get all of it and has to settle for a single, while Hilton Cartwright thumps to deep cover for another to finish the over.

Just seven from it. A good response from Neesham. Durham are getting the fire blanket out here, and they needed to.

  12. Postpublished at 11 overs

    Durham v Hampshire 127-2

Good comeback from Callum Parkinson, and from Durham, with the Hawks looking like they were running away with things.

11 off the over but a precious wicket too, though Hilton Cartwright is a dangerous batter and joins James Vince.

    Albert c Ackermann b Parkinson 68 (Durham v Hampshire 126-2)

Durham celebrate taking wicketImage source, Getty Images

Toby Albert smashes the first ball of Callum Parkinson's penultimate over over deep mid-wicket for a maximum and then tries to go again, not quite middling it, but falling short of the diving Jimmy Neesham who can't prevent the ball bouncing over the rope for four.

He goes eventually though, sweeping the fourth ball straight to Colin Ackermann at deep backward square, just inside the rope for a magnificent 68 from 37 balls.

  14. Postpublished at 10 overs

    Durham v Hampshire 116-1

Toby Albert and James Vince just nurdle a few singles down the ground to rotate the strike and send Nathan Sowter sprawling to the deck fruitlessly a couple of times.

Good over though. Four runs off it and a wicket.

Still, 116 at the mid-point is some start...

  15. 'Hants won't be too worried with Vince in'published at 19:11 BST 5 September

    Durham v Hampshire 112-1

    Emily Windsor

A much needed wicket that for Durham.

They just built some pressure up with a few dots.

Lynn had the right to go there with 10 wickets in hand.

Hampshire won't be too worried with James Vince heading to the crease at number three though!

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 9.2 overs

    Lynn c Potts b Sowter 51 (Durham v Hampshire 112-1)

A breakthrough. Chris Lynn departs for 51 from 27 balls, holing out to Matty Potts in at a wideish long-off off Nathan Sowter.

What a platform Lynn and Toby Albert have given the Hawks, however.

James Vince is the new man, so it doesn't get much easier for Durham.

  17. Postpublished at 9 overs

    Durham v Hampshire 112-0

After that breather, for Toby Albert, and Durham, Ben Raine continues, with Albert guiding a single into the leg side.

Chris Lynn can't time another full delivery into the blockhole for a rare dot ball but manages to dig out the following yorker for a single to long-on.

Albert is able to take advantage of a shorter length from Raine and wallops him back over his head for a four to finish the over.

15 off it. Albert has 56*.

  18. 'That looked like a box job!'published at 19:06 BST 5 September

    Durham v Hampshire 106-0

    Emily Windsor

That looked painful, I mean I never have felt that pain, that looked like a box job!

What is the physio going to do here?!

He is laughing... that is the treatment!

If you are a Durham fan you are hoping this might rattle Toby Albert a little bit.

  19. Postpublished at 8.2 overs

    Durham v Hampshire 106-0

Toby Albert gets caught amidships as he goes down on one knee to try a sweep into the leg-side.

Not out. But painful. The physio is out, probably as much for sympathy and to advise him to count to 10 as anything.

We'll have a brief pause. Pain stopped play.

Ben Raine is back to try and stifle the scoring but Chris Lynn brings up his half-century from 23 balls with a single off the first - his second 50 in as many T20 appearances this season.

Six fours and three sixes in this brutal effort.
