It was Joty's call, she wanted the second. What a brilliant throw from Linsey Smith, she's a great fielder. She's right on the boundary and had to fly that in. Amy Jones is probably the best keeper in the world, she whipped off the bails and that is a big wicket for England.

Joty run out 15 (Ban 52-3)

    Way short of her ground!

Nigar Sultana Joty sweeps Ecclestone out to square leg, where Linsey Smith picks up.

The Bangladesh captain tries to come back for a second but it's not on - Smith throws in on the bounce and Amy Jones barely has to move to take the bails off.

The TV umpire barely needs a millisecond to confirm that Joty needs to be on her way.

  3. Ban 50-2published at 11.1 overs

Fifty up for Bangladesh with a boundary as Mostary cuts Ecclestone away past point, where Sarah Glenn should do better.

Bangladesh are playing really smart cricket, they are making sure they score off every ball they can.

  6. Ban 45-2published at 11 overs

Linsey Smith replaces Sarah Glenn after her 10-run over.

This one doesn't go for as many, three singles and no more.

If Bangladesh can keep the needed rate at around 7.5 from here, they can win this game.

  8. Ban 42-2published at 10 overs

    77 needed from 60 balls

    Mostary should be gone.

Charlie Dean goes pad-hunting again and appeals to the umpire - nothing given.

England decide against reviewing, but ball-tracking shows a strike on leg stump.

Bangladesh go on to knock Dean around for five runs to reach 42-2 at the half way mark, still just about in contention.

    The players will take drinks.

Joty is by far and away Bangladesh's best batter and that is up there with the best shots of the night. A couple of bounces to go into the sponge. It's been a really good over for Bangladesh and that will worry England slightly.

  10. Ban 37-2published at 9 overs

Joty picks up Bangladesh's first boundary since the end of the third over, smacking Sarah Glenn over mid-on.

She follows up with a second four, driving confidently over the cover ring.

A much-needed confidence boost after a quiet few overs for Bangladesh.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge showed that if you do get your timing right without being necessarily powerful, you can find the boundary quite a few times.

  12. Ban 27-2published at 8 overs

Ecclestone continues, and for the second over in a row England concede just three runs.

    The two worms are diverging...

I'm not nervous about this game at all, but I would like England to show more confidence and aggression. A slip in place shows that.

  14. Ban 24-2published at 7 overs

Four different spinners in the last four overs as Sarah Glenn's leg-spin is introduced into the attack.

Three singles from a tidy first over.

I feel for Amy Jones, she's got Linsey Smith at one end and Sophie Ecclestone at the other, she's not seen that bounce all day.

  16. Ban 20-2published at 6 overs

Here comes the world's number one bowler, Sophie Ecclestone.

She almost has a wicket with her third ball as Amy Jones misses the chance to stump Mostary, who then gets the first runs off the bat in 16 balls as she edges past Jones for two.

That's the end of the powerplay, the required run-rate is up above seven, having been a touch below six at the start of the innings.

Beautiful bowling from Linsey Smith. She will probably be feeling nervous not playing consistently for England in a long time. A wicket will have her feeling great and she is setting this up nicely for England.

  18. Ban 17-2published at 5 overs

A wicket maiden for Smith, as new batter Nigar Sultana Joty knocks and nurdles her five balls straight to fielders.

Shathi Rani was going only one way there. Her nine balls were very entertaining, they all felt like an event.

Change of ends for Smith and she's straight in the wickets!

Shathi Rani strikes the ball to Sophie Ecclestone at mid-off, who takes the catch with the tips of her fingers.

Both openers back in the hutch.
