Jamie Smith is so good - a very good knock. And yet... should he be trying to go on and get a big one? Always seems to getting to 40+ and then getting out to a big shot.

Jamie Smith should be a bit irritated.

He's played some great shots. He had one huge slice of luck, after which he played terrifically.

Keshav Maharaj has the confidence to bowl slowly and it seems like the England batters don't seem to quite give him the respect he deserves.

Jamie Smith falls second ball after drinks!

The England opener advances down the pitch to Keshav Maharaj and tries to strike the spinner over long-on.

He doesn't get enough on it and Corbin Bosch takes the catch out in the deep.

Smith departs having added 29 after being dropped, but he might rue not pushing on to a really big score having looked in good touch.

Jamie Smith's had some luck, but you've got to be good to make the most of it.

He's capitalising on that freakish bit of fielding.

I think he got his feet tangled - he almost tripped himself up.

I don't know what he was doing there.

    Absolute shocker.

I'd have lost my mind if someone dropped a ball like that off my bowling.

    Eeeesh, that's a bad drop.

Jamie Smith tries to whip Corbin Bosch's delivery out through the leg side and gets a big leading edge, looping into the off side.

It should be a simple enough catch for Matthew Breetzke, backing away a touch at extra cover, but he stumbles as the ball comes down and spills the chance while trying to take it fingers up.

You feel like if you were having a boxing match with Joe Root you'd throw your biggest punch and he'd just sway out the way.

He just ducks and weaves and knocks it wherever.

  20. Eng 67-1published at 10 overs

Wiaan Mulder takes the last over of the powerplay, replacing Codi Yusuf.

His first delivery is on the legs of Joe Root and the England number three turns it away for a first four.

One single follows in the next five deliveries, back go the fielders.
