This is how the table looks with two nights to go before the play-offs.

Luke Humphries joins Luke Littler in securing his place at the O2 Arena on 23 May based on the remaining fixtures.

It's Littler who is all but assured of ending the league stage top, though.

Meanwhile, Michael Smith has closed the gap to the top four to leave Michael van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall glancing nervously over their shoulders.

Premier League Darts table: Luke Littler (Q) 36 points, Luke Humphries (Q) 28, Nathan Aspinall 25, Michael van Gerwen 24, Michael Smith 22, Rob Cross 17, Gerwyn Price 12, Peter Wright 4Image source, BBC Sport
  4. 'I'm not best in the world' - Littlerpublished at 22:41 British Summer Time 2 May

Night 14 winner Luke Littler, speaking to Sky Sports: "I can just play with a free throw now that I'm through. I'll play to win but if it's not to be, it's all about getting ready for London.

"I've definitely settled into the Premier League. First few weeks I was OK but I was settling in. I've won four nights now and feel settled."

On if he is the best player in the world: "No."

Is it Luke Humphries? "I don't know, probably."

On getting a nine-darter in the Premier League: "I need to hit one! I've already hit three this year and if I'm playing well then I know it's going."

  5. Littler wins again!published at 22:35 British Summer Time 2 May
    Breaking

    Luke Littler 6-4 Rob Cross

Luke Littler has his fourth nightly win!

Typically it's his favoured double 10 to clinch it. He's gone back-to-back, following up his success in Liverpool with another in Aberdeen.

Rob Cross pushed him as hard as he could and was a double six away from a 126 out to send it to a deciding leg.

But Littler triumphs again. He is now eight points clear at the top of the table. It will take something remarkable to stop him ending the league stage there.

  6. Littler breaks to close inpublished at 22:33 British Summer Time 2 May

    Luke Littler 5-4 Rob Cross

After seven perfect darts, Luke Littler is on for a nine-darter before he misses the treble 19.

It ends up taking him 15 darts to get it done after some unusual sloppiness on double 10.

But he has the break and he has the darts as he looks for another nightly win...

This is just a quality game. It is absolutely brilliant from both.

  8. Littler holdspublished at 22:31 British Summer Time 2 May

    Luke Littler 4-4 Rob Cross

Luke Littler takes out 80 to make it all square once more.

After missing the treble with his first dart, he goes tops and then double 10.

Was that intentional? Given the confidence of the teenager, I reckon it probably was...

  9. Cross takes the leadpublished at 22:30 British Summer Time 2 May

    Luke Littler 3-4 Rob Cross

Double 14 for Rob Cross and he is back in front.

Impressive stuff from the 2018 world champion to get the 87 out having started with a two.

He's two legs from victory but there is a long, long way to go in this final.

  10. Cross hits backpublished at 22:28 British Summer Time 2 May

    Luke Littler 3-3 Rob Cross

Rob Cross responds again, starting the leg with a 180 and goes on to seal a 14-dart break.

He was swept aside in the final last week, he seems determined not to let that happen this time around.

    We're back on throw.

  11. Littler breaks againpublished at 22:26 British Summer Time 2 May

    Luke Littler 3-2 Rob Cross

No big finish for Luke Littler this time - he missed bull for a 123 out - but he still gets the break.

Rob Cross couldn't give himself a dart at double with 100 needed and Littler comes back, hits double 10 and gets himself back in front.

  12. 107 out for Littlerpublished at 22:24 British Summer Time 2 May

    Luke Littler 2-2 Rob Cross

We saw three ton-plus finishes from Luke Littler in the semi, now he's got one in the final.

Tops seal a 107 checkout and brings him level at 2-2.

Luke Littler has had a real swagger in the past two weeks. There's nothing timid about him.

  14. Cross holdspublished at 22:22 British Summer Time 2 May

    Luke Littler 1-2 Rob Cross

Rob Cross leads for the first time in this final as he finds the double 16.

He had left himself 38 but opted against the double 19. Slightly risky given Luke Littler was on a finish but it worked out for Cross.

  15. Cross takes out 117published at 22:20 British Summer Time 2 May

    Luke Littler 1-1 Rob Cross

    Superb response from Rob Cross!

Luke Littler started the leg with a 180 but a couple of treble-less visits open the door for Voltage.

Left with 117, Cross seizes his opportunity and levels it up.

  16. Littler breakspublished at 22:19 British Summer Time 2 May

    Luke Littler 1-0 Rob Cross

Not quite the blistering scoring we saw in the semi-final but it was similar for Luke Littler in the first leg and that game, too.

The key thing is that he's got the early break. Left with 78, he's clinical.

Double 12 secures a 14-dart break of throw.

Rob Cross has the darts for the first leg and away we go...

  18. Postpublished at 22:15 British Summer Time 2 May

    Luke Littler v Rob Cross

This is a repeat of last week's final in Liverpool, of course.

Luke Littler came out on top in that one, beating Rob Cross 6-2.

Voltage begins his walk-on and knows revenge is pretty much a necessity to keep his incredibly slim hopes of joining Littler on finals night alive.

He's got through in two last-leg deciders tonight. A sign that tonight is his night? We'll see soon enough.

    Luke Littler v Rob Cross

A little earlier than usual this week after Gerwyn Price's withdrawal... but we're ready for the final.

First to make his way to the oche, it's Luke Littler. If he produces anything close to what he showed in the semi-final then we're in for a treat!

    Luke Littler v Rob Cross

    John Part
Former PDC world champion on Sky Sports

Rob Cross is continuing to play well and he's finally getting points. He'd love to beat Luke Littler here and win a night.

He's going to have to play his best game to even stand a chance, though. He's going to have to be super clinical or he won't even be an after-thought in Luke Littler's mind.
