    That was reminiscent of how he played to win the World Matchplay against Jonny Clayton. It was that kind of spell. Nathan held it together brilliantly and wrapped it up well.

    The way Nathan is playing, it's not as consistent as he'd like, but he's won one night and that performance was fantastic.

    When these guys are on, it's so difficult to live with them over a short spell.

    Nathan Aspinall is through to meet Luke Humphries in the final.

    It's The Asp's third final in four weeks and he won one of the previous two.

    Five 180s helped him to an average of 104.4 against Luke Littler - it would have been considerably higher without those missed doubles at 5-2.

    Littler averaged 97.1 and hit just 27.3% of his doubles - down slightly on Aspinall's 30% - as he falls short on this occasion.

    He looked to be in trouble in the leg but got back on track with a 180 before taking out 69 in two darts to seal the win.

    Dominant from Luke Humphries.

    He hit four 180s, averaged 106.66 and his checkout percentage of 46.2 was more than enough to take him to victory.

    Peter Wright found himself a long way back but averaged more than respectable 98.87 with two 180s.

    Hitting just one of his 10 darts double was never going to end well, though.
