    Dobey 1-4 Price

Price has not been perfect on the doubles - just three from eight so far - and has a lower average than Dobey, but has found the right darts when it counts so far.

Dobey looks for a 139 checkout to break back again but is all over the place, and though he needs three darts, Price finds D11 and is now in complete command.

    Dobey 1-3 Price

Now Chris Dobey has arrived, slotting away a 180. But Price responds in kind. After a flat start, this match is beginning to warm up.

Price is swaggering as he reaches a 64 checkout first, and finds it to restore his two-leg cushion.

Credit to Chris - while he had a bit of luck against Luke Littler, who could not seem to find a double for love nor money, Chris got better and better.

He started to really find his feet and in the end was the better player.

    Dobey 1-2 Price

How can Chris Dobey respond here? He gets to a 164 finish against the darts, hits back to back T19s but can't find the bull.

But Price is unable to respond, and Dobey breaks back!

    Dobey 0-2 Price

There was a little bit of debate on this page earlier tonight about Chris Dobey's place in the Premier League, but if he throws in this semi like he did against Luke Littler earlier, there will be no doubt he has earned his place at the top table.

But he's off-key again here, and can't find a 150 checkout to leave Price needing 24.

After hitting single 12, Price finds D6 at the second attempt and has taken control here.

    Dobey 0-1 Price

Gerwyn Price's first visit to the oche all night brings 180. That's how you make an entrance.

He gets nine darts at a finish with Chris Dobey slow to start, and sees it out with double five.

    Dobey v Price

Gerwyn Price looks pumped up and ready to go, plenty of high fives on his walk to the oche before a double fist pump and roar on stage.

He has been waiting a while to make his entrance, plenty of pent-up energy there.

  9. Which Price will we see tonight?published at 20:20 British Summer Time 3 April

It has been feast or famine for Gerwyn Price in this year's Premier League. Over the past six nights, he has won two events but suffered a first-round exit in the other four.

That left him in the odd position of being behind Michael van Gerwen in the table at the start of play tonight, despite the Dutchman not having yet won a night in 2025.

Van Gerwen's withdrawal with a shoulder injury resulted in two points for Price, lifting him up to third in the table. With some of his closest challengers already out, the Welshman will hope to strengthen his play-off bid by notching at least one more win this evening.

    Result: Bunting 6-2 Humphries

So who will Stephen Bunting face in the final?

It will either be the man second-bottom of the Premier League table, Chris Dobey - what odds on that at the start of the night? - or a man we have not yet seen this evening.

Better late than never, enter Gerwyn Price...

    Result: Bunting 6-2 Humphries

A thoroughly efficient display from Stephen Bunting.

He averaged 95.66, hit three 180s and was 40% on the outer ring.

Nothing mind-blowing but with Luke Humphries well off it - he seemed to be struggling with the flight of his darts throughout - it was more than enough for a second win of the night.

Humphries was down at 87.83 with just a single 180 and a mere 20% on the doubles.

    Magnificent from Stephen Bunting!

Luke Humphries is in control of the leg but a brilliant 124 set-up from Bunting leaves him tops.

Humphries gives him a look at it after missing two darts for the leg and while Bunting misses tops and double 10, he finds double five.

The Liverpudlian is one leg from victory.

Luke Humphries hits a 180 to leave 43 but doesn't get a look at it as Bunting finds double eight to retake the lead.

Missed doubles seem to be a theme of the night.

Luke Humphries looks all set to break straight back but he misses four at double to let Stephen Bunting back in.

The Bullet hits double five for a 19-dart hold. Not a vintage leg all told.
