Stephen Bunting and Luke Humphries have been speaking to Sky Sports, reflecting on their quarter-final wins earlier this evening...

Bunting: "It's unbelievable - I've tried 110% every week. You see some negative comments float through on social media and you try to stay away from them, but I've been trying so hard and working so hard behind the scenes. I'm so happy."

Humphries: "Rob started off really well and I struggled, the darts were going in a bit weird through the air. After a few legs I sorted it and it managed to go my way in the end. It's a big two points because Rob's fighting for that top four and I want to stay clear of him."

On the impact of Stephen Bunting gaining his first win of the Premier League...

It's going to help. When you keep seeing a zero next to your name, it doesn't help. And especially when it's been undeserved - he's had some ropey performances but he's played pretty well on the whole.

He'll be delighted with the win tonight and he gets the opportunity to get some points, which may kickstart a late charge. I doubt it, but he's got an opportunity.

Luke was poor on the doubles, you can't legislate for that, but Chris did his job.

It was an uncharacteristic performance from Luke and he looked disappointed at the end. He just left himself with too much work to do.

A big win for Dobey and a big boost for other players as well.

    Result: Dobey 6-2 Littler

The form that Luke Littler has been in - and Chris Dobey for that matter - this does have to go down as a shock.

Littler hit four 180s but averaged just 93.28 - largely due to his slackness on the outer ring.

The teenager was just two of 13 on the doubles, Dobey hit 54.5% of his and that proved to be the difference.

    Dobey 6-2 Littler

    Who saw this one coming?!

Chris Dobey has beaten Luke Littler - and done so comfortably in the end.

There were a few signs of nerves in that final leg but with Littler failing to really get going, Dobey keeps it together.

Double top for the match and Dobey advances to face Gerwyn Price in the last four.

That's one back for the world champ.

Tops gives Luke Littler just his second leg of the match to keep the match going.

Chris Dobey will throw for the win.

  11. Dobey is one away...published at 19:31 British Summer Time 3 April

    Dobey 5-1 Littler

Chris Dobey is a leg away from the semi-final.

The man from the north east is flying now.

Tops for the leg and Luke Littler needs to win five legs in a row to avoid defeat.

  12. Dobey breaks againpublished at 19:30 British Summer Time 3 April

    Dobey 4-1 Littler

Chris Dobey is on a roll now.

He stole a couple of legs but this is one he thoroughly deserves.

Double 18 for a 13-dart hold and Luke Littler has a mountain to climb.

Chris has just got to jump all over what's happening now. If he was 3-1 up and playing well, he'd be full of it. But he knows he's getting away with all sorts of doubling nonsense from Luke Littler.

  14. Postpublished at 19:29 British Summer Time 3 April

    Dobey 3-1 Littler

Goodness me! It's a steal for Chris Dobey!

Luke Littler nails a 180 on his way to what looks to be break of throw.

However, he misses on double 10 again then, despite Dobey, misses three at double four for the leg, the world champion proceeds to miss two more at double.

Dobey makes no mistake this time and has a two-leg cushion.

Littler has missed 11 darts at double in just four legs.

Voice of the Mysterons on X: Unlike Peter Wright last year, who was essentially given an unpopular wildcard (and look how that turned out), Bunting is there on merit as world number five, and so it's a real mystery as to why he's struggled so badly in the crunch moments.

Anon: No disrespect to Bunting, Dobey and Aspinall, all great players, but would be great to see Clayton in the Premier League again along with De Decker and to see Anderson again.

    Dobey 2-1 Littler

Ironic cheers from the crowd as Luke Littler shows he is human after all by hitting 26 - something that will make all amateur dart players feel that much better.

Littler laughs about it with the crowd but he won't be so happy now.

Another miss on double 10 gives Chris Dobey the chance to break - and it's taken.

Double top for Hollywood and now he has the darts.

Nearly an early break of throw for Luke Littler but three darts for the leg go begging.

After he misses the bull, he somewhat more surprisingly misses two darts at double 10.

That gives Chris Dobey the chance to come back and hit double 16 for a 13-dart hold.

Luke Littler quickly takes the first leg.

He's smiling immediately after his first two darts find the bed of the treble 20.

He can't complete the 180 but goes on to hold with a 14-darter.
