"It was this crowd that got me through, they wanted me to win. I thank you all. They got me through.

"Wesley had his chances but he missed them and I took them. He's got his tour card and he's going to be a dangerous player next year for all the players playing against him."

A comfortable hold of throw for Wesley Plaisier, who replies well to the disappointment of losing the second set.

Wesley Plaisier is a giant of a man, who towers over his opponent Peter Wright.

He's scored so much better than he did in his first-round victory on Monday, but missed doubles have proved to be his undoing in this contest so far.

Five more missed darts at doubles for Wesley Plaisier and they are VERY costly.
